We stayed at this hotel on a very good holiday. The boss is very friendly. The menus are terroir. excellent cuisine; very clean rooms, quiet place, the restaurant in front of the hotel is also very welcoming

The only restaurant open is there, well-preserved, clean, after a good walk, the village in the works, average, fresh and tasty salads: a bit expensive for what it is, a sophisticated atmosphere.

Very welcome from the very friendly server. Simple and original we really enjoyed the Norman boards and the one around the pig.

Hostel

The WE menu was delicious with a nice presentation of the dishes as well as original and quality products. Very welcome and the team is smiling.

What a surprise for Conty.

Very good price ratio. The produce is very fresh and very good. The place is warm and the waiters are warm. The chef comes by to see if everything is okay. Very good time to get out of the belly full after a good time.

Very good dinner and welcome.

Had the buffet appetizer with plenty of choice of fresh products, my favorite the devil eggs and the roll mops, then a succulent: " feuilleté de truite sur lit d'epinard nappe de crème citronee. Un délice!" Service is prompt and friendly!

A quiet weekend.

Its been a few years since we visited here at the end of a holiday, and we still remember the good food. This time was no exception. Our dinner started with foie gras, followed by steak frites and finished with crème brulee. The wines we chose to match were well priced. The food was,as before, well cooked and presented. Over the road to our bedroom which is very small, but clean and comfortable We slept well and as before had enjoyed our stay in this village. 

Another good visit.

Unfortunately this place has some good reviews on Expedia so we booked without look at TA. The only plus side is that it's cheap and the owner's assistant was very pleasant. The restaurant is meant to be very good but we didn't realise that it was closed on Mondays. There's nowhere else to eat in the village and the owner was really unhelpful when we asked where we could go to eat. We knew the rooms were small which is ok but these were tiny and poorly equipped. If you happened to be very ill you need not worry about the distance of the loo to the basin. You have to squeeze past the basin to get to the loo. The worst thing was that it was not clean. The loo seat was broken too so there was a risk that you would slip off. All this would have mattered less if the owner were not rude and we could have eaten somewhere. Thankfully there was a corner shop and we had a picnic in our room.

I have separately reviewed the associated L'Auberge du Village restaurant, which is a bit better. 

For the hotel side, we were luckier than earlier reviewers as we did find the managing couple in the restaurant when we arrived and were soon showed our room. We were clearly unexpected despite having exchanged multiple emails with the manager, still the room was there for us, so all's well. 

The room we stayed at ("Perche") is small. Feels almost like New York City, only you can sneak between your bed and your luggage rather than crawl over either. 
Now, we are happy with small rooms. We are, that is, if they are clean, which ours was, and reasonably priced, which at 46 EUR for a double I consider this to be, and comfortable. 
On comfort, even at this price, I would expect the shower to be warm, if not quite hot, at least at 8:30 in the morning. Our shower was cold. Hence the rating.

If you choose to stay here, you will be in a quiet location in a tiny village in a gorgeous countryside. Then again, floodlights in the courtyard will turn on when people enter it, which did wake me up a couple of times during the night. I do get back to sleep easily. Others may find this as annoying as cold shower water, or more.
