Little paradise 🙂 Everything can make you think of Laure's kindness and smile her welcome her listening to all her delicate attentions, the site with large garden, covered pool, summer kitchen so you can prepare meals All her walking addresses - we were cycling visits ah labbaye de Maillezais! Restaurants... were fair and well chosen I keep the best for the end...breakfast! Fresh products AND prepared by her care. We discovered some original delights because Madame is also a fine pastry chef We stayed 6 nights in the guest room

A small paradise

We spent a very good week at St. Claire's well. Everything was perfect: the comfort of the room, the common areas, the garden, the swimming pool, the pleasant breakfast, the calm of the village and above all the friendly welcome and availability of the owners.

A pleasant week

The reception is both discreet and thoughtful, the rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, the activities are well-guided, the breakfasts are varied and furnished with home preparations.

Ideal accommodation in a quiet place close to many tourist attractions

Very nice house, very nice and beautiful room, extra breakfast and very welcoming Fabienne. Located in a small village 2 steps from the Poitevin marsh, 20 minutes from LA ROCHELLE.Possibility to cycle, walk, swim in the hot pool and rest in the garden.

We're back to confirm the complimentary reviews! A flawless and very calming welcome, tips for activities, and a spacious and clean family room in a beautifully decorated house of character. Then a varied and balanced breakfast, a very pleasant heated swimming pool for everyone (our kids loved it), and the backyard with a small outdoor kitchen for a light picnic... Ahh, happiness!

Excellent on the whole line.

TRES is a nice place to have a good time. It is nice to arrive at a place where the first impression (the outside) is then confirmed. The reception, the room, the furniture, the breakfast etc. match the description. However, when we got home (after 11:00) we had no parking space in the street (no lighting so in the dark night!) then we almost parked in the large square where the market was held on Wednesday (which I did not know)... imagine the consequences if I had not found a better location! Surprisingly: there was no housekeeping after the first floor (cleaning, bathroom tray: stay in the bed)... a surprise for a ventilation key at 4 C. Please note the presence of the toilet is not very effective.

Our very hospitable host gave us good advice on finding the right addresses and served us his carefully prepared breakfast.

To find out

We stayed in the family room for a couple of nights and very much enjoyed our time there. The room is bright,spacious and nicely appointed - with a second smaller room off it with twin beds for the children, which was ideal. 

Breakfast was served in the courtyard each morning and was very nice. There's also a covered/heated pool (which takes up most of the rear garden) - our children loved this!

We spent our middle day cycling around the nearby Marais Poitevin area which was lovely and this B&B provides a good base for that.

The owners are very friendly and helpful - they were happy to book restaurants etc. There's perhaps a little bit of inflexibility around arrival time (between 17.00 and 19.00), but otherwise all good.

The only other point to mention is that parking can be a bit tight if you have a larger car (we did, with a bike rack making it bigger). We found it easier to re-park in the small village square which is close - it certainly wasn't an issue as far as we were concerned.

Highly recommended.

Lovely place to stay.

Such an amazing experience. Was welcomed and taken care of in the best way possible. 
Everything from the rooms, to the garden is perfectly maintained. 

The hosts are the most amazing people.

If you need a perfect holiday getaway as a couple or as a family, I definitely recommend This place!

We stayed at this lovely B & B for two nights a few days ago. What an absolutely wonderful place, the rooms are lovely and spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and with the addition of the swimming pools and delightful seating area in the garden, this B & B is the perfect space to while away a few hours. The breakfasts were delicious, home made jams, lemon cake and yogurts to name a few!  Near enough to La Rochelle if you want to visit with lots of other things to do in the area. Fabienne was the most helpful host and suggested restaurants nearby and things to do whilst we were in the area. Do visit if you are in the area you will not be disappointed. We will most definitely revisit in the future.
