I Have stayed in this chalet during the last two ski seasons. Superbly run, very nice staff and owners . Comfortable, spotless friendly and specially well priced compared to hotels in town. Very well located. Great value for money !

Great value for money

2-star hotel located in front of the Princess cab (you have to take the car, even if they are less than 500 m). very friendly treatment. Dinner and breakfast more than right. It has wifi (improved) and, the only pegas may be the absence of an elevator (logically, it is an old construction) and the excessive heat in the rooms.

Good treatment and good location.

I have just spent two nights in this small hotel at the entrance of Megève. A simple but very comfortable bedroom, a perfect Italian shower and a breakfast quite up to the standard for a price that is no longer reasonable in the eyes of those practicing in the resort.

He deserves more than his two stars!

L'Ancolie is just by the road to Megeve and easy to find. Staff is very friendly and the room is ok sized. Bathroom seemed to be recently renovated too.

The only real issue is the price tag which is a bit high. The rooms show age too well and in mine the paint was peeling of which is easy to fix. Bathroom renovation had also stopped a little too early, missing decorative details to hide plaster wall underneath.

Average hotel with a bit too high pricetag

A rustic hotel, nothing luxurious, but comfortable, a good breakfast, near the Princess cabin, relative to normal quality, the staff was always attentive.

Three weeks after our booking I asked to cancel, they refused to pay me back as they're going to rent the room easily because everything is complete in Megeve that night, what a shame, for once I have to cancel because of a big family problem

Beneficiaries

Small room for two with comfortable bathroom (Italian shower), super welcome, we were able to leave our luggage and take our shower in the afternoon after our sporting event.

Very comfortable

The hotel is conveniently located, close to the Princess cab, although you will need a vehicle to access it. It is a few kilometers from the city of Megeve. The rooms are well in relation to the quality price for the area. The staff is friendly. The hotel is closed from 13:00 to 16:00, so I recommend that you take the key with you and do not leave it at the reception. On the ground floor there is a single room and presents many problems with the drainage of the bathroom. The layout one day and the next day was the same. We flew to Geneva in the evening and arrived late at night at the hotel, at the door there is a small box where we left the keys to enter as I had explained earlier. There is no elevator, the suitcases touch the stairs, or carry the keys to the handle.

 Economy hotel for the area

It's a nice little hotel, very clean, a few kilometers from downtown, but ready from the Pricesse station, convenient, just for breakfast, it lacked fruit, 6 days of bread and cheese. It's good, but it's heavy.
