I've been a client for several years and I know this hotel well because I've occupied every room. I'm sick of reading dirty comments that don't reflect reality at all. To believe that these 'customers' never set foot in this hotel. The reception is warm and the hostess is always listening to you. The hotel is clean. As for bed bugs, I've never had one in several years. You have to know that it's the customers who carry these unwanted little animals, the hotel owner is suffering this discomfort and it's the hotel owner who is forced to do whatever it takes to eliminate these animals. It was my little move to put their things back in their mouths..

Nice and pleasant

The location is very good, close to the historic center. The kindness of the owners, who kept our luggage and let us keep the motorcycle in their parking lot. The hotel is quite old. The bed is small and not very comfortable. It does not have enough plugs to place chargers and, in addition, are on the floor. The bathroom has a large window that has no way to hide from view. Although from a courtyard without much inhabitant, you can see everything you do from outside. It is closed for part of the day.

Well situated, but old.

All the negative reviews are the minimum of reality: run away absolutely. One nightmare, with little animals (bed bugs)...the old age of the place has nothing to do with the deplorable hygiene.

It's awful!

I leave an opinion more than favorable to the manager of this hotel who was able to receive me with a smile and kindness, very good advice for my visits and two nights that went well in a clean and functional room, just a window with a concern but the manager had warned me, so perfect stay, a thousand thanks

Two nights

Staying at the hotel was a must-avoid!!! To begin with, the hotel is very old and was not clean at all, there was dust and hairs on the floor of the room. In addition, the sheets were dirty even though they seemed to be washed. The floor of the room was loose. We didn't care too much about all this and let it pass but what is unacceptable is that the next day of our stay we started to see body bites, and to our surprise we found a chinche in our bed that at 100% of our stay at the Hotel de France de Dinan since we changed the bed linen every week and the stains in the bed linen were precisely of chinches.

Pesadilla, never to repeat again.

A pleasant, warm, personalized welcome, with good advice, an interesting conversation. I was allowed in the room well before the usual scheduled time. A microwave is available to guests. The room is functional and very well heated which is very appreciated after a day of hiking in the rain. Breakfast is quite right, especially for the price paid. At a time when there is more and more impersonal, standardized and soulless space, I am delighted to be staying in this establishment, some details of which could certainly be improved (like!) everywhere but in the quality/price ratio is unbeatable.

A simple and authentic family home

When you have a hotel it's the least of the things!!!Room 10 on the first floor, as you go up the stairs, you wonder what the room will be like so the carpet in the hallway is dirty and stained, the doors with black traces.. no vacuum cleaner or sponge???. The floor of the room is sticky when you walk (on the floor not cleaned with the proper product), the bathroom drawer is across, no soap in the shower curtain when there is saying the necessary, a roll of toilet paper that hangs around the ground, hello hygiene, a blanket placed in the backyard, it's all about hiding in the room without touching a pot of breakfast, milk pots, but not the entire kitchen, and I'm asking you to tell me that this is not the only thing to do when you're leaving the kitchen, but it's not the end of the world.

Three months

We came in and the room wasn't ready... we saw the sheets on the floor... the towels everywhere... we saw hair in the bed. The mattress wasn't comfortable.

Two nights of adventure!!!

Sordid, filthy place and not corresponding to the description, we stayed for half an hour and left the bed was not up to par, but we were told that for the fragile back it was not a hospital, we will stay there about the more than unpleasant exchanges when we tried to explain the problem.

The pictures published have nothing to do with reality anymore.

The only positive thing was a proper reception! Stuffed sheets, hair in the bed, horrible bathroom, ceiling plates falling off, no sound at all, I was on the first floor, TV on and I could hear people talking in the DRC, not counting the guests from the living room sneezing! As soon as the corridor light lit up, my room was lit up, due to the space between the floor and the door! I think the two stars are due to TV and Wifi!!
