It was an exceptional place of friendliness and kindness, the owners were in the small care of their residents, the breakfast made from a lot of local produce was exceptional. The house kept in its spirit of the time but properly modernized was full of charm.

If you've never slept in a mansion, don't hesitate! The home is warm and the property is beautiful and very quiet! The house built in 1800 is beautiful, the property is well maintained and very quiet

Calm and Quiet

Very beautiful home has remained its own for two centuries while enjoying modern amenities indispensable for the comfort of passing guests. Vintage furniture, very charming and often beautiful. Very friendly home, with little care. Very impressive breakfast, the ritz does not do better!!! Go ahead, and indulge yourself a little for a night or two, it is sweet. I highly recommend.

A lovely old farmhouse with style, like a museum, the only drawback: the bed was too narrow and too short, an incredibly rich breakfast.

Dreamy country life

A dream corner. Comfortable rooms and exceptional decoration. The silverware, paintings, furniture, porcelain make you feel like you're living in another era. The breakfast is varied, spacious and of remarkable quality, everything is homemade. The owners are charming, helpful and caring for the customer. It's rare these days to find people with such qualities. Thank you both and soon.

Exceptionally

We stayed in the chambre royale of this splendid mansion in August 2014, really stunning rooms with furniture and furnishings in imperial style. You can breathe the air of ancient nobility and the breakfast table was so rich and opulent, that Vatel's table in comparison would undoubtedly have shaped it... It ranges from sweet to salty, with porcelain and precious posateria that made from the contour to a tripudio of fragrances and flavors. You are a quarter of an hour's drive from the charming Honfleur, where you must taste the coconut of moules, and from the beautiful Etrayette, just as wonderful with the fabulous favours suggested by Monet. The owners, Jean-Angel and monsieur Condissieu, were really nice and have made a great impression, and we have a chance to hear the wonderful house of Diana de Vienne, and we have a chance to hear the wonderful advice of Diana de Vienne, and we have a chance to hear the wonderful house of Diana de Vienne and Diana de Vienne!!

Norman holidays in honour of the nobility...

John and Angela were wonderful hosts. My husband and I enjoyed sitting and visiting with them in their picturesque lawn. We live in a rural area ourselves so we enjoyed the quite beauty of this setting. The house was a piece of history. We loved everything about it. The breakfast provided was the best we had in France. They had a large selection of food to choose from. This is definitely the place to stay if you enjoy being in the countryside (not terribly far from town) and want to stay in a historical home. John and Angela will make you feel welcome and extremely comfortable. If we are in the area again we will definitely return.

What a Treasure!

We were delighted with our stay at Manoir de Bray – an enchanting step back in time in a Manoir that has been in the same family for over 200 years. The house is nothing less than elegant and holds a huge collection of furniture, paintings, silver, porcelain, clocks, and memorabilia that have been accumulated by the family over that time. It is situated on a quiet country lane with cows grazing nearby but within a few minutes drive, roughly 5 km, of a village with a couple of very nice restaurants. The hosts are very warm and agreeable and will be happy to share a glass or two of calvados and talk about travels, politics, or whatever. And, the breakfasts are amazing – I would say on this three week trip to different regions of France the best by far – whoever number two was it was a distant number two. Regional cheese, regional paté, fresh, home baked croissants & chestnut bread, eggs, salmon, ham – just to mention a few of the things available. The hosts familiarity with English is limited - but in our opinion if one has a basic knowledge of French Le Manoir is the place to stay in this area of Normandy. Etretat and Honfleur are within an easy drive and we would happily stay here again.

A Wonderful Stay

It's an incredible feeling to be in this romantic 200-year-old mansion. Although we hardly speak French, we've been able to get along well and feel at home and most of all very welcome. The rooms with lots of beautiful old furniture and family-owned decorations, paintings and sculptures  such a genuine antique and luxurious ambience you don't experience so often. Completed with the majestic room view. The breakfast itself and the fantastic romantic breakfast, with lots of homemade and regional products and with loving, hospitable and hospitable hospitality  everything is exceptional. This house is a soul  it's the history of the house, but the guests who have a special atmosphere of warmth and kindness in this house are grateful to us for their time in the house.

Apart from the location of this mansion, the rooms are comfortable and decorated with refinement. Every detail is studied with the result a superb setting. Breakfast is rich, delicious, everything is homemade by the owners who are smiling and attentive to the smallest details to make your stay an unforgettable pleasure.
