This is highly affordable, and the bus is just across the street, however, it lacks some of the amenities that business travelers need.  It also has limited number of rooms that do not include stairs, so if you can't carry your luggage up a flight of stairs, be aware. Good breakfast on site. No other food, but a food cart some nights.  Internet was not reliable when I was there but a colleague who stayed earlier noted that it worked well when he was there for that trip.

Staying at Stars Geneve

You can wait the night before you leave, but it's hard, especially in the summer. There's no air conditioning in the room, and there's no fan in here. There's no hot flash and no TV outlet, the switch on the TV is blocked. wi fi doesn't get to the numbers and works at the reception. From the airport 15 minutes walk fast without luggage, the Y bus runs extremely rarely and starts running late.

Single camera.

This hotel has some advantages. It is very cheap for the Geneva area. There is good public transport both into central Geneva and to Geneva Airport - so it is well situated if you do not have a car. But there is very little else to recommend the hotel. The rooms are very small. The carpets in the corridors are filthy; the reception area is unwelcoming (although the staff were fine). If all you want is a very cheap room for one night's stay in a small room it is just about acceptable. But read the other reviews on this site to get an idea of what it is like.

Be aware what this place is like before you book

Hotel 100 meters from the border with Switzerland and Geneva airport. One positive note. For the rest we forget. Rooms furnished in the 70s and left as they were like the walls.

Let's just leave it alone.

First room: water infiltration under the window and toilet leakage...second room: main door that doesn't close. third day: water leakage into the room! no but to the rescue! close this muddy muddy!!! positive point: kindness to welcome...

It was desperate.

Hotel stars is a fool, at 9:00 they send you to another hotel because their software doesn't work, and the bottom tells you to pay the room back, the host doesn't speak French and doesn't talk to the women, the room smells of cigarettes, disgusting, and you feel in danger because nothing is up to standards and unhealthy environment.

I'm not sure.

We had booked at the Stars and were referred to the Median Hotel, 10 minutes away on arrival, where we had to wait for an hour at the reception until we could check in for no apparent reason.

A disappointing night

I wasn't thrilled, but the price was excellent and the ease of getting to the airport on the bus next morning was a big help for me.  The price was very affordable.  The staff member who checked me in was kind and helpful.  My room was clean, but it certainly is a shabby place.  The entrance is so unwelcoming.  Very unfortunate, but in the end, I felt safe and am grateful to have found a place that is so convenient for the airport.

Not the worst place I have stayed

We stayed 2 nights in November 2017. The hotel is conveniently located a few meters from the border and with a convenient bus stop. The hotel is not the most aesthetically pleasing and the rooms are not very large.
