Surprised by the reviews  excellent ....pleasant reception. Decoration  Notorious year 70  very clean however. Room on the back luckily... noisy roadside) a price of €60 instead of €69 was more justified, especially in early September.

Quality-price ratio: average

We were on our way home and we wanted to make a stop along the way. The hotel is a run-down but has the charm of the old, with the advantage of the old buildings retaining the freshness that is sought after at the moment. The reception is very pleasant with attentive and charming owners. We recommend the place.

End of holidays

The rooms are nice but a little old. The bathroom is good, but the dry hair is badly placed and does not really dry unless you put it to maximum power but there you burn your fingers. The whole thing is clean. The provision of a refrigerator and freezer in the hotel for guests is enjoyable. The breakfast is good (bread, wine, jam, honey, yogurt, apple compot, orange juice and hot drink). We would have appreciated the presence of a bottle in the room with coffee and tea.

Nice hotel.

Very good reception, perfectly clean and spacious room with a balcony. Average breakfast. The hotel is no longer a restaurant, I recommend for hikers the pizza caravan 500 m to Florac at the round-point level; the pizzas are really excellent!

That's right.

Old but very clean and comfortable hotel (think about locking your head to avoid grinding). Very nice and cautious welcome. No restaurant but you are heading to O Maria 100 metres away where you can enjoy a very proper hiker meal.

Excellent welcome, cleanliness of the rooms, courtesy of the guests Damn that the bedding is aging because grinching assured!! Motorcycle garage, super and honey will for breakfast A little bit of modernity would be welcome!

Nice but old

Le Rochefort is a decent hotel about 1 km outside of Florac.  The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Our rooms were quiet and faced away from the road.   The WiFi did not work in the rooms, although it worked well in the lobby.  The breakfast was of average quality and included croissants, baguettes and yogurt.  Unfortunately, the staff was not very helpful and seemed fairly uninterested in helping us to have a pleasant stay.

A decent hotel in Florac

The hotel looks a bit tired and run down, especially from the outside it doesn't look like a place you would want to stay. The inside is however quite different, the rooms are good, the staff friendly and the food served for dinner was unexpectedly delicious. Breakfast however was French standard. The location is great for exploring the gorges du Tarn, and for an overnight stay before you set out this place is recommended.

Bit run down but decent, and good food

A pleasant & warm welcome on a very warm day.  Supper was good & well served; breakfast was simple but good with a variety of foods which were served to each table.  The room was reasonable & clean but would certainly benefit from modernisation; the shower was very compact with an old flimsy box cubicle which was hard-up against the sink & wc - not at all easy for someone who is 1.88 metres!  There is plenty of parking to the front & side of the hotel.
