Le Creusot

The building is beautiful with a large park. The rooms are spacious, clean and so is the bathroom. The bed, very wide, is superbly comfortable. A royal quiet, a brief excellent night. Of course, the rooms would need some work but if I had to go back to THE CREUSOT, that's where I would sleep without hesitation and even with great pleasure.

3 days there, in it was just fine. The hotel it self is in a good location (le Creusot is a small town anyway) the building is a typical old french building (actually local peoples said that it the old annex of Schneider family residence). room are clean , well furnished but it's a bit old. Breakfast is ok ( no local Cheese which it's a down point for a french house). staff doing his best and it's pretty much appreciated.

The price-quality ratio was very good with breakfast included, the rooms were very nice and the bedding... just extra, we slept like babies, the lunch was very varied and delicious, the staff was very friendly.

This is a great hotel.

I don't recall the price of the room for the benefit received. Yes the rooms are acceptable size but the style more than old, the shower bar dismantled and the sink closed... I don't recall having paid 72€ for this. Not to mention the offer breakfast at 15€ per person.

It's a shame

Hotel in a historic building, (formerly owned by the Schneiders) which gives charm and makes the site interesting. The upper rooms are very spacious and pleasant, equipped with a very good mattress. The rooms are quite noisy inside but not spared from the noises of passages in the corridors. The bathroom is very clean but very old and austere, it has the merit of not draining to wash! The TV has little channel that works well, it instills reading... The restaurant is a bit expensive for service, I must say that they were in reduced capacity at that time.. Glement nice, but we have to feel that it is not bad to bring things back from day to day, it would be a very nice establishment.

Escape as a couple

The bedrooms are big and clean. Breakfast is nice and the personal shower is refreshing. Nice free parking on the side. We were four on a motorcycle with two bedrooms. We'll be back on another trip.

Very quiet hotel, spacious room, although a little old but comfortable, king size bed or rather 2 double beds, very efficient melt radiator heating, small shower, friendly staff and very good breakfast. We were not disappointed, we will gladly return there! Especially for the calm!

Quiet hotel

I was expecting a charming hotel next to the Castle of the Glasshouse... what a disappointment! Room reserved with a view of the park. It's actually a view of a vague terrain with trees. An old carpet, dirty carpet, sad brown walls, poor quality bedding, narrow double bed, babbling light... and the summon a constant noise outside, a factory turbine that, according to the reception, stops at night... which is of course.

A bad night in an old hotel

We were a little disappointed by the outdated and worn out appearence, but it all went away within a few minutes. The room was spacious and comfortable, SPOTLESS, and had all the amenities most travelers look for : hot water kettle, coffee, tea and milk, hair dryer, safe and laundry bag. The staff was extremely courteous and professional. The breakfast buffet is not worth 15,00 Euros, but food at the restaurant was good, even if not homemade. Great wine list of course, as we are un Burgundy, and the hotel is close to amenities. I would definately stay there again.

A little outdated compared to the photos, but comfortable and spotless

A small stay in this very well located hotel apart from the castle of the glassworks and its very beautiful park. Comfortable and spacious room. Maybe a little old in style but quite in the theme of the hotel. The door to the room was a little hard to open.
