Hotel restaurant of an old time, average food quality ratio price but good, not much people in the restaurant we were two. The toilets are old as the furniture.

Old man.

The rooms need to be repaired: everything is fenced off, used too much. The cleanliness is questionable. The reception is unfortunate: I requested Wi-Fi again the second day because it was cut off the night before at 7pm and it was still not available: I was very poorly received. The quality of breakfast is beyond limit

more than an old man should avoid

This hotel restaurant bar certainly had its glory hour but it's been a long time.The owners are not very kind and not really helpful have this request why they took this particular trade person are not made for the trade I think that's their case, when in the clean say have that they are not made for the household either!!! Breakfast with a horrible quality coffee more than low-end and distillation of the coffee machine that starts from date tartine with industrial bread the day before while there is a bakery right next door.Hour we didn't eat at the restaurant or oatmeal!!

Freshwater

A room on the third floor without an elevator and especially without anyone asking us to take our suitcase! It started well! an old staircase that smelled of the enclosure and the dust! briefly ready to escape but....we had just fixed the room (not crazy the owner!!) and then it was just for one night! then a radiator that coughs all night! a faulty water chase!! and in the morning the pleasure of finding that there was no hot water!! in short a total escape hotel!!

Fleeing

I arrived on Monday 28/09 to spend 5 nights. Given the state of the bar, I did not want breakfast or dinner. First false note, a half-ripped box ticket as a note. I settled in the room and found that the mirror was dirty, but the rest is suitable except for the pillows which must be 3cm thick. There is no heating and the room temperature is cold. I travel a lot and this is the first time that the household is not in my room during my stay. The only day someone has been through the room: Tuesday morning. I didn't say anything except that the household doesn't turn around, it's not going to be a heated room. I'm in the private rooms and it's a shameful day.

We had booked 4 rooms and arrived to find they were overbooked. None of the shoulder shrugging but a very businesslike lady confirmed she had found me a room 200 yards away and that all billing would be through her. Walked me over personally and paid my bill straightaway. This level of service is often lacking in France where the customer is not always king and often considered an inconvenience. Yes, the stairs are spiral but this adds to the charm. The houses in the town are of a good age and are therefore very quirky. Bar is friendly. I would go back

Typical French Village Acommodation

We stayed here midweek for one night. The reception seems to be in the bar but the barman seemed helpful enough. We had to climb two flights of spiral staircase to our room which overlooked the square. The room was quite spacious with a good sized barhroom. As there seemed to be only one restaurant open on the square and as it was around 8.00pm we decided to eat in the hotel. The food is OK but poor by french standards.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The cost of the room booked on the internet was €45. Breakfast was €6pp and was disappointing (3 half pieces of toast, 1 croissant, and 1 chocolate croissant + tea ) these were already on the table when we arrived for breakfast which is not a good sign.
This hotel is ok for staying overnight but I would definitely get the breakfast elsewhere.
You have to be out by 10.00 am but the lady at reception said we could extend it to 10.30am.
We were gone before 10.00am as it turned out.

Climb every mountain

My wife & two friends had a meal here one evening. The lads had the set menu and the girls both had a croque monsieur. None of the food was very good but the croque monsieurs were just about inedible. The place was on the high street in a very prominent position and I suppose the service was OK,but it wasn't particularly cheap for what we got. 
We would not go back unless everywhere else was closed.
