For the past few months, I've preferred guest rooms to franchised hotels where I used to be, and I've always been fascinated by the personalized approach of owners.

A resting stop on a long business trip

The price ratio is excellent. Here is a guest room that stands out for a taste for refined decoration, authenticity and charming and discreet owners. We were seduced by the calmness of the garden, the themes in the decoration of the place, the breakfast that lacks nothing and our exchange with the owner. We will return without hesitation if we stay in the area again!

Nice stay and very welcoming

Very pleasant stay in the romantic room (note that this one has an open bathroom/toilet but that didn't bother us). We came as friends for the crazy guy's puy. The setting is beautiful, the service is not to mention, Sophie was at our care and listening to her guests. We also had a very good meal and breakfast with quality and simple products. We recommend this package stay 😊

Very good stay in the guest room of the Malnaye

Second stay at the Malnaye. Hospitals are always as welcoming and thoughtful. Breakfast made from homemade and cozy make the day start very pleasantly. The originality of the Yeyé room with its 1950s decor and impeccably kept. The heat made me enjoy the pool. I liked to walk around the garden and sit in the shade, enjoy the tranquility of the place, before tasting a well-stocked board. What happiness!

Always such a pleasure!

We stayed in the so-called romantic room on the top floor: the heat was unbearable and the lack of services was felt...The bathroom even has the room without separation, the room feels locked without any style except for some old trinkets etc. I'm not looking to reduce attendance but to make people react to the quality and lack of professionalism I think!

Far from the promises made...

These few days in August, despite the very strong heat, were the most appreciated. The place is charming in a very cozy and vintage atmosphere, you are transported to another time. Customers of modern comfort should refrain: everything is announced in advance, so no surprise! The guest table is superbly packed and allows you to start the day in perfect shape. The reception and advice of the hostess are valuable and well suited to the day's plans. She is also very careful and caring for her guests, caring about their well-being. A quiet and relaxing place. We strongly recommend!

A pleasant stay with the charm of the place

Used to hot houses of all styles we don't know how the owner and his house could have a positive grade but everything is a scam. The owner has only one idea in mind: pocketing her money! The reception and customer orientation she really lacks.. The so-called romantic room is a real joke: toilet in the room without separation except for a small screen... very glamorous! Room with a fairer toilet view... Pool but beware the recommendations are clear: you have the right to go but you don't have the right to take your disposable toys in the room and don't dream you won't be provided with any more. So either you bathe and you wait for the word standing to dry (ah yes, the owner's toilet transceivers aren't there - but you're clearly not allowed to use it). So the list is clear.

Get out of here! They're making fun of you!

In a splendid property with a swimming pool and a beautiful garden, Mr and Mrs Bauduin receive their guests with remarkable kindness and availability. Breakfast is completely homemade and organic (bread, brooches, jams, yogurt, etc.) is delicious. An address to highly recommend. Thank you for all Jannick and Yvan Tessier

It's charming.

We had an overnight stop here on a trip from Spain to France.
After a long hot journey it was lovely to arrive and be able to have a refreshing swim in the lovely pool and to relax in the beautiful garden.
The house itself is charming with lovely decor and interesting artefacts all over.
We were made very welcome and recommended to eat at the pizzeria in the village centre which was delicous. Breakfast was served in the garden. We would certainly recommend this place.

Charming

Helen and I enjoyed a ten day stay with our one year old daughter Isabelle at Maison de la Malnaye and I would certainly recommend it as a good place to stay with older children.  The fact that two of the three rooms are on the second floor does mean that it was a bit difficult with a young child but that was entirely our fault for not thinking things through before we went.  Sophie is an excellent hostess and could not have been more welcoming: Gabriel is an excellent cook and we enjoyed lots of excellent evening meals that are very reasonable priced.  You do need to be aware that Les Lucs du Bologne isn't really anywhere: it is a sleepy little town with nothing much to distract either adults or children and therefore anything you may want to spend the day doing is going to be about an hour away in the car. The coast line is lovely at Les Sables and we spend many happy days there. Rooms are are a good size, bathrooms excellent but pillows rubbish!
