We have put a mediocre rating because the price ratio is not good at all: small but comfortable room, bathtub with shower that doesn't stick, old carpets.... and breakfast not up to par with casino and super U dairy products (for us it's a killer, fried fruit, frozen croissants or in a bag, gelato without flavor and not even real jams....or cheese. It's significantly below the quality we had in guest rooms for a very low price.

Three beautiful houses whose rooms would deserve a major renovation

The house is beautiful, in the setting of its beautiful garden. Everything tastes exquisite, it makes you feel at home. Of course, in this old house, forget about the large square rooms, everything is in detail and original. In the large living room (the old restaurant), take one of the books from the library, pick up your CD and dip yourself in a large chair! But be careful! Don't forget the time because there is so much to discover in Cerdagne! Very nice lunch We love!

Forget the time and enjoy the exceptional setting!

The house is perched there, on the border of Andorra and Spain, at the summit of Llo, a village of character where time seems to have marked a pause, a breath. The place is atypical, its wild poetry. From the house, immediately, one admires the architecture of lauzes and schistes covered with virgin vines, the terrace suspended and the garden that climbs up to the pool, the very personal atmosphere of the lovely lounges filled with very beautiful old, often Indian furniture, the long hospitality of a small artist friend letting a warm and colorful light in. And then, of course, the rooms, dough and smoothly arranged, converse on the towers or the towers of the village, which at the time had a charming hotel, the hotel, which is a place of pleasure to stay with the guests of the village, which has been in the vicinity of the hotel for at least a few years.

Original, bohemian, comfortable... a very welcoming eagle nest

The essential things are not often noticed with the eyes.......Due to a room of our dear Molière our host loves flattery and does not deprive to tell you the charms of the house and his extraordinary life. So yes the house is beautiful, yes the frame is charming but it stops there. First surprise a double room that has only the title, actually two simple beds hidden under the sheets.....If we warn the guests before it is I think a little more honest but that's not the most important point. It's true that for a room at this price, you can expect a perfect escape, the bathroom joints are often a big black bean, the painting is saved in the doorways not to be damaged, but to avoid the breakdown, but I'll tell you that it's a good idea to have a two-hour driveway in the area.

A gorgeous retreat. Fabulous views where you can sit in a wonderful country garden. Ghislane is a warm, welcoming delightful character who’s extremely accommodating. Phenomenal walks nearby. Can’t wait to go back.

Fabulous Llo!

Once you have crossed the gate, the magic of the place is at work and you will discover this very beautiful guest house and its flowery garden. From our room, a beautiful view of the village and the mountain, a cozy breakfast, a charming and caring welcome.

The owner has been holding this charming house for a very long time she likes to welcome her hostesses as if they were guests with kindness and a great class superb clean and well furnished rooms good bedding a pleasant pool in a beautiful setting good breakfast with a fabulous dry ham

It's a beautiful memory

Only there for a night and really enjoyed it. We understood it was once a hotel but now it has become a ‘ chambre d’hote’ albeit a little quirky. However, the room was very comfortable, the breakfast we had was very good ( made better by the superb views) and the lady owner was extremely pleasant and helpful. It is amazing how much ‘franglais’ can achieve!
We were in the area to do some walking in the mountains which were great and given we are sure to return to do other walks, it would not surprise us if the l’Atalaya is where we would stay!

A great little find.

It is a beautiful house inhabited by a beautiful person. The hospitality is extremely kind and the hospitality is very professional. The delicious, plenty of breakfast allows you to hike in an exceptionally beautiful and accessible nature.

A Paradise

Our stay was on the August Bridge and I'm sure we were given the worst room because nothing else came and the lady who was waiting for us informed us that we were given the smallest room that was above the room they used to store trash and that we were to be careful with the staircase to the room, because both the stairs and the porch were in very bad condition. The room as she told us was very small with a carpet that looked like a map of stains and the bathroom was very old.
