Old hotel, very noisy, no room isolation and uncomfortable... cleanliness leaves to be desired... the mini shower is catastrophic... cabin size 60x60...!!!! Too bad, the location is convenient... in response to the message on the wall... I prefer to close my eyes and dream....

Running away...

Excellent location, very close to Gare Du Nord station.Lunch included.No elevator, poor wives and a bit of attention.No soap in the bathroom, which is unpleasant because you can't prevent it, you know when you arrive, but when it comes to price, you can't be so bad.

Deficiency is a problem.

I stayed here in summer 2015 for one night. I had a single room with a private shower and a shared toilet across the hall opposite my room.

The room was small and cozy, with a working television set. The bathroom came with basic amenities and the shower was in good working condition. The bed was clean and comfortable - I slept well.

This hotel is ideal for a person arriving to Paris via Gare du Nord. Obviously there are grocery stores, restaurants and shops close by, and the vicinity of stations makes it easy to travel further in Paris. I was also happy to stay here because I didn't need to pay for public transport the next day when I returned to London via Gare du Nord.

However, the area might get a bit restless during the night. I remember hearing fighting and screaming right behind the shared toilet's window. Despite this, I felt safe staying in this hotel (the only noise I heard from my room was the traffic, as the room window was facing the street, which I don't mind). It's a budget hotel, so don't expect luxury.

It's very basic, but also rather cheap. Bonus points for the free wifi that seemed to work fine in my room. Good for a few night's stay.

Good location, fine for one night

Arrived 29 September 2015 for three nights. The room was OK, very basic. But the bathroom was like a cupboard. None of that mattered as the room was not expensive for the location. Biggest problem, the problem -  was we booked a twin room, well in advance (my son and I), and when we arrived it was with a small double bed only. There was no other room available and we had to sleep like that for three nights. No apologies, no discount, no attempt to fix it - we just had to cop it. Last time at that place !!!  :-/.

Very basic but close to things

1 star because unfortunately less can't be given: as soon as we arrived in Paris (we were still at the airport) we are told that this hotel, if that's what we can call it, can't welcome us for no reason!!! (to emphasize that we had booked with 1 month in advance of our arrival and in every email sent and received from the hotel saint Quentin we could never doubt that our booking had not gone well!! Through EDREAMS then they moved us to another hotel (hotel at Gare dutava North) not far from sain Quentin (camero MOLTO MENDOLTO MOLTO LITTLE but cordial and personal available!), where on the reception counter it is clear that there were more collectors labeled as SANT SANT MOLTO MOLTO MOLTO MOLTO MOLTO MOLTO MOLTO MOLTO MOLTO MOLTO MOLTO MOLTO MOLTO MOLTO MOLTO MOLTO MTOOLTOULTO MTOOLTOULTO MTOOLTOULTO MTOOLTOOLTO MTOOLTOOLTO MTOOLTOOLTO

Pessimo if not Pessimo

We were unable to stay in this property despite having booked in advance. A week after the departure date we were contacted by email from the hotel, who informed us that he could not accommodate us on the scheduled days, apologizing we were offered an alternative, the 3-star Gare du Nord Hotel. After consulting the (pessime) reviews of the new proposal we opted for another excellent property instead of booking assistance.

Impossibility of staying

Stayed here for 2 nights in late Oct and the only thing I would recommend is its location; very closed to Gare du Nord train station (100 meters away). Since we were on a tight budget and had a morning train to catch, that was probably the best option. The hotel is nothing like what they put on booking websites. There was no parking space available near the hotel but luckily we had returned our rental before checking in to this hotel. The old guy manning the reception was not friendly (though his English is pretty good) and the way he spoke to us as if he owns the hotel. I don't care if that's the case but I believe he has a better way to deal with unlikely situation. The room we got on the 2nd floor was small and very basic. The lift so small it can only accommodate two people without luggage at any one time. The wall so thin we could hear footsteps outside our room as well as guests next door talking. Bathroom was basic and the shower enclosure was so small, even for an Asian like myself. There's not enough lights in the room I can hardly read my book without opening the bathroom door. There's no kettle to boil water in the room but you can ask from the hotel guy, if one is there. The next morning I saw a couple of the hotel guests sleeping at the dinner table. They wanted to check out but the front door was locked and no one manning the reception. What hotel locks its guests in? How can people escape the building in case of emergency (e.g. fire, sick, etc)? Maybe it's for security reason but there must be a better solution to that.

I only like the location but nothing else

As soon as we arrived the receptionist went to get something at the Speed Rabbit Pizza next door leaving us on the side, then he came back talking to us in English. Then he realized that we were speaking French, but he didn't speak it fluently! He gave us a key to room 210, it was a key to a tennis court. Then the front door opened but not from the dining room. There was a dead spider bath on the ceiling, dust on the walls (which had no more paint) and rust everywhere. The shower is a construction site, the toilet has no more cover. The TV is also a small heater and does not work (it is not connected to an antenna before the trip), so the hotels and the bathrooms are not too bad, but it seems that there will be an average of 5 degrees of insomnia in the middle of the room.

Get to the rescue!

Since the stay was long enough, we looked for a hotel that could be a medium and especially convenient way. Surely it was seen near the subway, the station and especially the tourist bus stop. The hotel has small rooms, which in some cases leave to be desired but, the cleaning and the change of towels were done regularly, the staff were always available and satisfied with any request for help, the wii fi went sometimes yes sometimes no Paris is beautiful sometimes less the Parisians and I recommend NOT MANGIATE BAGUETTES are a dirty....... molly sticky....... and the LOUVRE PIBRE ORIBRE just removed from the towel, with refrigerated.......

7 days in Paris

One of the most unsettling hotels I have ever encountered, even at this low price point. Scary drunk guy roaming the halls, fighting with the nighttime clerk. I stayed with a group and all of our showers had huge holes in the doors. The walls were filthy and I was horrified at the idea of my skin accidentally brushing against them in my sleep in the tiny, stiff bed. No ventilation. Bad lighting. Falling apart. Did not have technical pillows - just this stuffed runner thing under the sheet. And the nabe is obviously a bit rough at night time, being across from Gare du Nord. (Though...convenient to trains.)
