Words will not be able to express how grateful I am for this place and the wonderful people who run it.

We booked the room in the morning and a few hours later I arrived with my boyfriend when I was very sick. The moment I arrived, I felt so safe and like it was a little slice of home. 
They took such great care of me and I was able to sleep 12 hours! I woke up feeling refreshed and ready for a full day of travel that I was so anxious about before I arrived.
The pool is a true oasis and the room was no different. 

If I ever find myself near Saintes again, I will stay here in a heartbeat. 
If you are looking for a place to stay in the area, I can't imagine anywhere better than L'Oasis.
The hosts are real life angels and I am forever grateful for them acting as my French family when I needed them most.

A beautiful and true oasis hosted by angels

Very welcoming, helpful guests. Very beautiful house whether from the inside or the outside. The bed on the top of the top. Perfect and friendly lunch. Nice and quiet setting. We stayed there only one night, but we could see all the positive points. We don't regret it. We keep this address in a corner of our heads.

Stay at the Oasis

The downstairs room is large and clean and a large bathroom. The guests are listening to it; a good atmosphere in the morning at breakfast we can talk about many things.

We spent the night with friends at the Oasis. We arrived quite late, but the owners were waiting for us and welcomed us charmingly. The rooms were comfortable, convenient with everything needed for a refreshing night. The breakfast was good and cozy, and we enjoyed discussing things and more with the owners.

A very comfortable night

We only stayed here for one night on our return journey from UK to Spain, and we were delighted with our choice.  There is plenty of off road parking in front of the beautiful old house, the rooms are spacious with superbly comfortable beds.  We were made extremely welcome and offered refreshments immediately.  The outside seating area is wonderful, we had brought our own food with us as dinner was not available at the house and we did not want to drive anywhere after our long journey, so we were encouraged to make use of the dining table on the patio. What a marvellous end to the day, sitting drinking the wine that our hosts provided, listening to the birdsong.  The breakfast is plentiful, juices, cereals, various yoghurts, croissants, bread, homemade jams, fruits and some wonderful cheeses.  The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, this is a real gem.

Beautiful Location

We stayed here for 4 nights so we could go to our friends Wedding in a neighbouring village. So pleased we found this fantastic BnB, it's in a very quiet location which we loved and the hosts were wonderful, friendly and so helpful! Nothing was too much trouble.
Another plus is that the bed was super comfy and we slept so well!
Definitely recommend!

Wonderful!

We only stayed one night at Christian and Dany's house but it was perfect. The guests are incredibly kind, welcoming and warm. They are simple and their beautiful house with the pool is great. The basement is neat and clean. The bathroom is beautiful. It should be noted that the lower wing where the hotel room is located does not attach to the bathroom and the toilet. There is a small hallway. That said, the whole part is private and walking through the hallway is not embarrassing. The price is more than competitive with these amenities and the full breakfast. Thank you again.

A Necessary Step

A wonderful surprise awaited us as we drove into the ample forecourt. An imposing 400 year old family home had been extended and converted by the male members of the family into an ultra modern magnificent abode.

Christian thoroughly enjoyed showing us the fruits of his family's labour. The decor and furnishings are superb. The lady of the house has an eye for quality and has impeccable taste.
The welcome we received was warm and inviting. 
The bedroom was well designed with all matching furniture. The shower outstanding and a challenge but mastered!
The his and her washbasins are magnificent.

Breakfast which was prepared and served  by Christian (as his wife was away on family business) was healthy, tasty and plentiful with homemade produce and preserves.
Cheese platter, superior yoghurts, cereals, fresh fruits, croissants and baguettes including a beneficial sports orange juice, it was a real treat.

Christian sat with us over breakfast and the conversation flowed. He is quite a character and made our stay most memorable. 
In the extreme heat is was most enjoyable to use the outdoor covered seating area.
We were also able to use the fridge which is always a bonus for onward travellers. 
The pool is inviting and there is ample outdoor seating for meals and relaxing loungers.

There is ample parking.
Christian has an excellent sense of humour and we had a great rapport and interaction which made our stay all the more enjoyable and memorable.
We certainly hope to return.

An excellent find that met all our expectations

Very friendly and helpful owner. She did her best to make us feel like at home. We travelled with our 2 little babies, and she helped us with anything we needed. A baby bed was foreseen. The breakfast was also excellent.

It´s located a bit far from the motorway, but it was really worth driving some extra km to rest in this 'oasis'
