A beautiful establishment from far away but far from being beautiful!!!! The surroundings are not maintained which would be the least of things... As for the interior just a disaster, Veillot and not maintained it is scary!!!! The most startling and revolting is that this establishment claims to be a 3 star!!!! it is a total lack of respect for customers As for sanitary measures it would have work for the inspection of work...

a great disappointment

First of all a nice building in a nice hallway with a sealed parking lot at night. The staff is available and friendly. I've had a large bright room with a relatively recent water room. However, the staff do not wear a mask in the hotel. The vintage of the furniture available in the common areas is unnamed: a skate chair, HS TV which serves as a decoration in the PDJ room. In the room: - the blinds are torn, - the mini fridge is not functioning despite the heat period, - no ventilator, - evening lighting, - the double bed that is not adequate to the room at all, - to put the valves in the 3 living rooms, - the windows in the living room, - the entire interior of the house is not equipped with a ventilator.

Old three-star, probably a decade ago.

This hotel could be great with very large refurbishment work. Atout France has confirmed to me by mail that this hotel must no longer have a 3-star rating since March 2020. They have no longer been entitled to any rating since that date.

Three-star rating for a poor hotel

The guidance to find the hotel, the reception, the service and the service were absolutely perfect, the receptionist was very kind. The idea of offering a late meal despite the restaurant's temporary closure for the chef's hospitalization was also very pleasant. On the other hand, the partially detached and hanging curtains, the lack of proper lighting and decoration, the bedroom beds in the bathroom gave a very bleak impression to the whole. Not to mention the deformed chairs on the floor! Only the living room was renovated and modern. The whole establishment was much too monakmal for a 3 star presenter. I felt a little like spending a night in a castle, which was in need of a more pleasant, but it would have made the hotel room a very nice, and it would have been a very nice renovation.

Poor quality of the establishment compensated by the very high profitability of the manager.

We stayed in this hotel, close to the castle of Chantilly and the castle of Stones.

Excellent stay in this mansion!!

Nice hotel, this is my second stay here, the manager is very involved, the rooms with large stone walls are very large, with very affordable rates. Ideally located between the castles of the Oise like Chantilly or Beauvais. It's not a great luxury hotel but the setting is really very nice and a charming asset without a doubt. I recommend.

It's a beautiful hotel made of stone.

Experience to forget as soon as possible... No swimming pool, outdoor unmaintained, indoor idem... It's unthinkable to put 3 stars in a establishment like this one... The building is very nice, for everything else, we forget everything as soon as possible... I recommend not staying there and canceling any booking...!!!! I leave you alone judge of the state of the establishment through some photos.... a shame that it still has 3 stars and the diploma of excellence from TripAdvisor 2019...

It's a modern and generous kitchen. It's a bit clumsy, but the staff is looking after the customer. It's a good experience. The setting is a bit retro. I was expecting something in a bit of a post-modern style. But well... we can only improve. After all, we go there to eat! The quality and quantity are there but the decoration of the restaurant would win to be a little more modern.

It's a good restaurant.

My visit didn’t have the best of starts when I encountered a locked front door. No big problem though. A quick press on the bell and problem solved. I entered a quite charming reception. Full of old world Frenchiness. Check in was simple and away I went to my room. 

As I walked up the stairs the first floor looked quite nice. Stylish in fact. Then i ascended further... To the second floor...

Oh dear. The outside wall quite literally covered in black spores in the edges and with ceiling paint lovingly collapsing. The upper staircase could definitely do with some affection. But. It’s an old house! So. Wonder what my room was like...

Awful. 

Just awful. 

The bedroom itself was initially not too bad. Sparse. But quite okay at first glance. 

The bathroom was bad. 40 years old. Very retro. No shower curtain. A dodgy wooden laminate floor. Basic. No nice toiletries, just some awful soap. 

Sleeping was a challenge. 

When you laid down you realised that the bed stank of stale cigarettes. Eugh. 

The window was so bad the noise from outside was incredibly loud. 

I appreciate it wasn’t expensive. But I left quite angry. This place has so much potential. I was really looking forward to staying somewhere with a bit of character. But this isn’t that place. 

I didn’t bother with breakfast.

I’ve given an extra star for the staff. They were pretty good and clearly did their best. 

Overall this isn’t the worst place I’ve ever stayed... but it’s probably second. 
 
Would I stay again? Nope. 


Quite unpleasant 

Dinner with friends on reservation: 12 guests in the room...Children playing and chatting in an annex room...no staff at the reception. Old decorations. No cards, but a very large potato in the room for 2 menus: 28 and 46 €. Busy and somewhat intrusive server. Our choice is on the menu at 28 €.
