Large room but not qualitatively level... shower cabin towels with holes... Very expensive dinner for the products served Idem for breakfast with Yoplait yogurt and industrial jams... huge park but maintenance to review not to mention an argüiez visibly occupied by staff who is closer to the slum than the castle....

Go somewhere else.

A very nice establishment that has managed to find a very pleasant mix between a historic building and a comfort that preserves its authenticity. Superb park and very well maintained exterior. High-quality service and fine dining, a treat during the two days and nights of our stay. No false notes.

A charming setting

Very good accommodation: the setting, the park, the rooms, the meal, the ample breakfast. The reception is charming and the emphasis of the person at the reception which is versatile (bar, meal, billing) is not inconvenient given the attention it pays to the guests.

A haven of peace!

No service, does not correspond at all to a 4 stars Irregular hot water, insufficient furniture for Rangement (we stayed 4 nights) Lack of professionalism

What to Avoid

We were in the area for the circuit of Magny Cours and seeing the reviews we had opted for this well-rated hotel. But we were soon disappointed... The setting is beautiful but already before we arrived we had 2 calls to know if we were taking dinner and breakfast because we had to warn in advance. 2 calls from 2 different people with a rather oppressive air. We didn't come just for the night. When we arrived at the reception located in the small tower in front of the castle, we spoke quickly, after we got the key through the housekeeper who was passing by, we took a shower in about 2 minutes and then the shower became warm, good. So we said that after a reception we could take a lot of water to the bathrooms.

Absolutely Furious

Booked for a night while travelling back to Uk. The whole experience was lovely - helped by a very professional and personable team.  The room was perfect - I was worried about no ac - but rooms are high and airy. All amenities were there, there was tea and coffee facilities in the hallway outside the rooms.  The grounds and pool were a welcome chance to rest from a long day of driving. Easy to find . The beds were super comfy - nice and tranquil environment. The dinner is worth every penny - we ate outside which was delightful - my compliments to the chef as everything was delicious. Breakfast was plentiful and a good variety. Every staff member we came across was polite and happy. Can’t wait to re visit.

Sheer bliss

For the meal you choose a menu from two on free paper that you are presented with at the reception. But if you ask the question:white fish what is it: no answer....we are in a menu at 45/50€!The kitchen: nice installation but what comes out is not up to the budget requested.Lunch: note me.

Nice kitchen setting and organization to forget

We stayed one night after visiting Sancerre on out drive down to Spain would highly recommend. The surroundings were beautiful and the chateau. The staff were so friendly and accommodating Costa was a great guy and the food was high quality delicious! Breakfast fresh eggs from their chickens and freshly sliced hams and cheeses. Our evening meal was a choice of 2 options I had smoked local
Salmon on a bed of salad the dressing was so tasty and followed pork it was delicious

Beautiful chateau in countryside

The place is very nice and well maintained. The quiet park, the fragrant and very clean room. The nice bedding. We really enjoyed it all. A bemoan about the lack of staff that, as a result, offers a service below the expectations of the place, the person who hosts the reception manages at the same time ONLY the restaurant service, so responds to calls while serving. She keeps going back and forth to several posts. The person who manages the morning reception is also everywhere at once, which generates the waiting for a coffee in the morning. For example, several customers have moved to the reception to have the ingredient they wanted. And after we have arrived at the restaurant, we stay on our plate to discuss the problem of having our cheese during the dinner to accompany, but the rest of the meal is a nice dessert.

It's a quiet, relaxing place, but it's a service to improve.

We had a very good family time in this establishment.The staff are very friendly and the rooms are adequate with the strict necessities.However, the rooms lack intimacy with more than a lack of isolation (sharing intimacy with neighbors).
