It's a beautiful house, perfectly restored, with taste. Little attention that makes you feel really welcome. The garden is a bubble of tranquility, the rooms have character, the breakfast is home and perfect and the guests are charming. And besides with the sun, it was top. We even got to dive in the pool:-) Good continuation

A Place of Peace

Charming guest house near Nîmes, pleasant reception. On the other hand, arrival times are quite late (17h) and departure times are 10:30h, which prevents us from enjoying the place. The swimming pool corner is a little small and enclosed between 4 walls which does not allow us to be away from other travelers. Positive points: a ping-pong table available and an excellent breakfast. In the bedroom: bed size in 140 cm slightly small, decoration and paint to be returned to the taste of the day

We came here to spend a we we had won. Very nice charming house, the hosts are very kind superb welcome. The suites are set up to accommodate 4 people. Nice attention with the courtesy dish in the room. It is a real haven of peace in the open. Too bad we couldn't enjoy the swimming pool because it was raining. The breakfast prepared with love, that fresh and very cozy products, homemade jam, waffle prepared before our eyes. I highly recommend it for those who want to discover our beautiful region. Thank you very much to the hosts.

La Maison is a combination of B&B/Chambre d’Hote with its own self caring Gite hidden away in the garden.

The Gite is a hideaway paradise in the enclosed garden of the main house, that is owned and diligently hosted by the owners. The guests in the main house also have access to the garden and pool.
Dominique and Laurent are fantastic hosts! Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Everyday we saw them cleaning and maintaining their high standards and one day, when the local bakery was closed, Dominique gave us some of her homemade bread and waffles. Those who stay in the bed and breakfast rooms have a real treat to look forward to every morning.
Our little Gite became a home from home and we took our breakfast every morning on the little terrace overlooking the pool. Although we were only a family of three, the Gite itself is very capable of hosting a family of 6. There’s two toilets, a separate bathroom, a well stocked kitchen, a barbecue/plancha, a bar area, large indoor dining table, a sofa and other comfortable seating, but the real delight is the garden and pool, straight off your front door.
The one or two guests from the main house who did come down for a swim, never stayed for long. And even if they did there’s plenty of sun beds and seating.
The village itself has everything, especially peace and quiet. You hear the odd train now and again when it pulls into the village station (very handy if you don’t fancy driving, but often we would simply stop ourselves, to hear absolutely nothing. Total silence!
The village has a lovely bakery that’s a two minute walk away. A good butcher, also about two minutes away. A very small weekly market on Wednesday, but only if you want fruit and vegetables. 
At the other end of the village and a 5 minute cycle away (or two minutes by car) is a very well stocked supermarket and petrol station. It’s has pretty much everything! Fish counter, butchery, a large beer and wine section, a large fruit and vegetable section and all other sections that a well stocked French supermarket would have, including a small section of clothes and household supplies.
The supermarket also has an outside laundrette a petrol station and a couple of electronic car charging stations.
The surrounding area has lots to do, for everyone, and I am guessing the train would be a bonus if you don’t want to, or can’t drive. We borrowed bikes a couple of times from the main house, but we drove around mostly.
We come home after our two weeks totally rested and relaxed. We could have happily sold up everything back in the UK and moved into the Gite, with Dominique and Laurent as neighbours. We felt that relaxed and at home.
For certain we will stay here again and maybe bring some friends next time who can stay in the main house. Meeting up at the pool each morning and all barbecuing in the evening together sounds perfect. We can’t wait.......Thank you Dominique and Laurent!

Once again, we can only thank Veronique and Dominique Carrière for their warm welcome and their extraordinary kindness. For the third year in a row they have welcomed us into their charming home and it is still just as perfect, spacious, clean and full of little attention.

Just beautiful frame, warm welcome, kindness from the hosts... the sun, the pool, a room (yellow) cocooning in perfect lovers... breakfast home to fall!

A little corner of heaven...

I can only advise you on this little haven of peace. The owners are extraordinarily kind and caring, the decoration is beautiful, cleanliness impeccable, breakfast is very rich with regional organic products. Come in and you will be pleasantly surprised, the patio is just wouahhh, behind there is a swimming pool, so much this summer that we can enjoy this idyllic setting.

We spent two wonderful days at Veronique and Dominique's, the house is beautiful and the setting is beautiful and quiet, the breakfasts are delicious and the wise advice of our hosts has allowed us to discover the area, a haven of peace that I recommend.

It's a great stay.

First you must find the village, it isn't on all maps or GPS. Then, when you drive up to the place, you think, "Can this be the place?" 

Well, don't judge a book by it's cover! Once inside, it is super. This small B&B, run by resident owners Dominique and Veronique, has three rooms, a nice swimming pool, and a great breakfast; the breads and marmelades made by Veronique.

Parking is no problem, they have WiFi, and are a friendly, informative couple.

Caveat: If you are tall, ask for the room behind the swimming pool.
