We stayed one night in this hotel which must have been beautiful but which would have needed a complete overhaul... what a pity! the rooms have a really overcrowded deco. and the price of 88€ a night seems excessive. the bathrooms and the dressing room have been rebuilt. but the cuisine is good including the muddy eggs, the dishes well presented. the park is beautiful and you can walk around with pleasure.

Clean but old hotel

Our review is only about the restaurant since we haven't slept in the hotel. The restaurant room is gorgeous; it's a huge old-fashioned veranda with a very big charm. When I see some beginners, I'm surprised that some people criticize the vicious side of this kind of atmosphere. All the charm of this kind of old-fashioned provincial atmosphere is there; infinitely more typical than McDonald or Formula 1! Coated food, 25 euros at lunch, full, full, full, full, good and well served. So impeccable for a nice lunch in a nice, efficient and smiling service.

Pleasant stay

Very welcoming and very smiling staff. Cozy lunch; very comfortable bunk bed but the room lacks modernity. A pleasant setting with a tree-lined park. Ideal for a walk after lunch

He must have had a mouth in time, and it's a pity that he doesn't.... A quiet and relaxing setting, a friendly and smiling welcome, clean and spacious rooms, not to mention the falling bathroom.... If I had the opportunity, I would surely return to this hotel because I like to imagine walking around his charm of the past.

What a pity.

At the edge of town, we found this hotel nestled in a park-like setting...a huge traditional thermal hotel.  After settling into our traditional (not modern) room, it suited us perfectly...comfortable and spacious and pleasantly decorated.  We rushed down to dinner as it closes early.  The dinner was enjoyable.....salmon with steamed potatoes and carrots and zucchini; my spouse had duck with veggies after his navette (turnip) soup.  All was fresh and nicely prepared. The couple who manage the hotel are delightful....we will definitely be returning.

Nice relaxing stopover in St. Honore les Bains

This hotel is run by the most accommodating, caring and considerate people. We only stayed for one night, but it was the highlight of our time in Saint-Honoré les Bains.

There is such a sense of old-world style here, where everything is done with grace and elegance.

We did not eat at the restaurant but we can definitely recommend this hotel over and above any others in town for location (IN the park), aesthetic style, customer service and value for money.

Perfection

We took one of the high standard rooms and it was perfect. My fussy wife loved it. Service? Impeccable and with a smile. Dining room? Big glass bays with a delightful view on a Park. Food? Good value, good local beef, and wine by the bottle that they will keep for you during yort trip. Otherwise, the place is a charming Old Lady and well taken care of. The closely connected spa is tops for the treatments  it offers for short or long stays. Good for arthritis. Very affordable to boot. Close by is the lake-studded Parc du Morvan.
