Room with sea view... very clean... refined decoration... well equipped bathroom... shampoo... shower gel... hair dryer... rich, varied lunch, excellent homemade jams... thank you Isabelle and good luck with your establishment.

Very nice welcome and very well located very clean room with bay view very quiet no noise at night lunch pretty plentiful just enough with jam, pickles and sticks as well as cereals and fruits

Run by an English couple. Very clean, comfortable and friendly. You park in the square next to the hotel ( which is down a little side street) right by the old quarter. St Valery is a gem and the bay is beautiful; try the rickety old steam railway - well worth it.

Friendly hotel

We stayed two nights in this establishment. We were greeted by the owner (who speaks only a few words in French). The room received was not the one described in the reservation. We were disturbed by the presence of rodents or birds (?) during the night in the upstairs isolation. Very little sleep. Room not very clean (under the bed no cleaning). Small detail: no hair dryers... so to be foreseen. At lunch, no words from the owner, minimum service, no jams. We were very disappointed. We will not return to the small house.

Disappointing

We had a very good stay in these guest rooms conveniently located at the foot of the old town, very quiet. The rooms are very comfortable. We were also able to enjoy the very nice living room with friends. We highly recommend this guest house.

a very quiet guest house, ideally located

Great Hosts, clean, comfortable, view over the bay to die for and within staggering distance of all the best places to eat and drink. Sited right underneath the Joan of Arc gate on the city walls, parts of the building 4/500 years old. We live near by and visited for a break midweek, the whole area is superb and one never runs out of stuff to discover. Really to be recommended

Best position in St. Valery

The most ideal location, at the entrance of the medieval city, with views of the bay. It is very quiet. During the day, but also at night, there is no noise. The room. Good comfort, with an excellent 160 bed, plus possibility of a bed a place for a child. Possibility of making a warm drink. Pleasant bathroom. Very nice home. I disagree with some criticism regarding the mastery of French of some of the guests. Madam speaks French fluently. Mr is learning but is understood with a little goodwill. So British. Breakfast is a perfect room! The less fortunate from a slanted point of view, we closed our eyes to even small windows. In the same room we would like to write a perfectly detailed address.

The cabin

We had a very relaxing weekend stay in this cosy Bed- and Breakfast. The room was clean, warm, comfortable bed and nice towels and bedlinen. View from the room was nice, with partial view on the Bay. It is very near to the Medieval town, but you can also easily walk 'down town'. Tony and Heni were very helpful, also when we needed a guid to do the Bay Crossing. 
Breakfast was very tasty and more than OK. Only thing to improve : quality of WIFI, which was rather poor in certain parts of the building. Anyhow, this B & B can be recommended to all people wanting to spend some nice time at the Picardy coast.

Cosy bed  and breakfast in the old part of St Valery

We stayed in the three bedroomed holiday cottage which opened up onto the pretty garden of Boisfontaine. The accommodation was excellent...clean, warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds very comfortable and each bedroom had an ensuite with superb showers.
Great location for the old town and lovely restaurants, shops etc a few minutes walk away. Free parking .
The English owners were warm, welcoming and their local knowledge meant we visited places and restaurants out of the town as well.
We definitely return.

Superb place

We stayed here for two nights whilst on a motorbike tour of Normandy. The English owners are very welcoming and knowledgeable about where to go and what to see. Our room on the second floor had a sea view, lovely modern shower room, comfy big bed and a well stocked tea tray. Everywhere was really clean and the toiletries in the shower room were top notch, even included hair conditioner which you don't get in 5 star hotels. Breakfast was very good with fresh fruit, lovely bread and preserves. If I had one wish it would be for yogurt to be provided at breakfast. The wifi worked really well. I would highly recommend this B&B.
