Where to sleep in Santenay

On first approach this place seemed rather unassuming and modest. But once you get to the rooms and look out, it's simply breathtaking. We had two connecting rooms that were spacious and nicely decorated. The breakfast was typical French with croissants and baguettes--simple yet delicious. The gracious host and owner (Françoise) made the stay truly memorable. She even hosted a private wine tasting for us. (The estate's wine selection was both tasty and reasonably priced so we ended up taking home quite a few bottles.) The location is also great--walking distance to the main square and a few excellent restaurants.

Fabulous chambre d'hôte with gorgeous views

In an old French house, NIE welcomed us with a lot of attention to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms are a bit old but clean. The bedding could be updated but the view of the vineyard is a real pleasure.

A very warm welcome

In Santenay, we booked a room at Domaine Moniot-Nié for a stay of 2 nights. Françoise, the owner, warmly welcomed us into her guesthouse. She was a good advisor for the activities to be done in the area.

quality wine tasting - no stay in a guest house

We've just spent two days in this place. A very friendly welcome. Clean and quiet room. A proper lunch. A good walk around the place. An evening tasting in the cave where a person who is passionate about his trade explains a lot of things about wines.

Nice place to rest

Lovely!! We had two rooms upstairs with a connecting door. Perfect dor us an our 3 kids! A ladies room (3) and a gents!!!
Slept wonderfully. Rooms with beautifull views of the vineyards!!
For a meal at the townsquare best to reserve in advance... We had to drive to Chagny.
Wine of the estate: don't leave without it! Good wine for a good price! Don't spread the word too loud ;)

Overnight stay on the route to Provence

Spacious room, good breakfast, we stayed 3 nights and were very comfortable.

Room had a great view over the vineyards.

Close to the centre of Santenay for restaurants, café and not far from the Chateau de Santenay (tour and wine tasting).

Nice chambre d'hote in lovely village

The accommodation is located in a very beautiful vineyard. An elegant staircase leads to the first floor where the rooms are. All the rooms lead to the vineyard. The rooms are beautifully decorated, sufficiently spacious and clean. What is really fantastic here is that there is really no artificial light entering the room. When you lie in bed at night and look out of the window, you can observe star images and, in clear weather, you can see the Milky Way. During the day, you have a wonderful view of the vineyard.
