The garden is not really planned for lunch on site when we are many the rooms are not very large but the bed is very comfortable the trailer is too nice but the outside needs renovation

Very quiet ride in the middle of the country

We only stayed one night whilst doing the London to Paris bike ride. It's in a lovely quiet area just off Avenue Verte and is perfect.  Storage for bikes, they also allowed us to check in 2 hours early because we went faster than expected. Free WiFi and breakfast whenever we wanted was impressive.  The selection of homemade jams was as extensive as tasty. 

The beds and and en suite bathroom were ideal as well as the private access.

The owners were really friendly and spoke good English. 

I would definitely come again and highly recommend it.

Fantastic stay

A unique event in France: the owner, very kind, speaks Italian! (Note that there is hardly anyone who can express himself in English...).

Relax in the silence of Picardy

We were at Le Chat Chocolat on our tour from London to Paris. The accommodation was very cheap and had excellent standard: a bright, airy four-bed room with private access and en-suite. The B&B was great, and the owner was very helpful. He organized storage for our bikes, showed us the young donkey (Aristot and Amun) and when we asked about restaurants, he gave us a very good recommendation and booked on our behalf! He even went to the bakery for us at 7:00 to have an early breakfast. I have never had better service!

Fantastic accommodation and service

We stayed at Le Chat Chocolat on our cycle from London-Paris. The accommodation was very reasonably priced and of excellent standard: a light, airy 4-bed room with private access and en-suite. The B&B had great character, and the owner was very helpful. He arranged storage for our bikes, introduced us to the pet donkeys (Aristot and Amun) and when we asked re restaurants made a very good recommendation and booked on our behalf! He even went to the boulangerie at 7am specially so we could have an early breakfast. I have yet to come across better service!

It's cozy and homey with the freedom of the big green spaces, great space for children's games and the presence of a very nice rabbit, great breakfast with original marmalades and a welcome for those who speak a little Italian.

Like at home.

Coming at the end of our holiday it was a real pleasure to spent a night at Le Chat Chocolat. Thierry is a wonderful host and speaks excellent English! The breakfast is excellent with a wondeful choice of interesting home made jams.The location is very quiet and rural and the bedroom/bathroom facilities are first class. Can't speak highly enough of the establishment and will certainly return the next time we find ourselves in the area

Fabulous

The disappointment was great because of the gap between what was announced and what we saw or saw. We were 10 with children, so we had booked two bedrooms plus a trailer. The owner warned us four days before we went to offer to pack up in two bedrooms. It was a very good start. After a lack of welcome, we felt like we were disturbing the whole we. For the children's playroom, it's inaccessible in the morning because there's too much noise next to another room. They looked very surprised when we tried to use the barbecue. And to finish the breakfast, it's really a medium. Except for the jams and the bread, nothing is good.

Big disappointment

The hosts Thierry and Stéphanie are very good and make you feel very welcome upon arrival.  They are not obtrusive though and leave you alone if that is what you want.  The surroundings are pleasant and very clean.  The furniture is unique and original and adds to the countryside feel of the property.  Each room has tea and coffee making facilities.  I would avoid staying in the room at the front of the property as it is very dingy and without the light on you can barely see anything.  There is a low-pitched generator noise which can disturb a night's sleep.  Also it has no television which, for the price (€70), should really be provided.  The breakfast is first rate with fresh coffee, a croissant and baguette along with a variety of Stephanie's home made preserves.  Free wi-fi is available which is useful for keeping in touch with home.  In the garden there are a couple of donkeys and a rabbit which like to be petted.  Overall, I would recommend Le Chat Chocolat for a short country break or a cycling stopover en route to Paris as it is on the Avenue Verte route.
