Small and uncomfortable rooms; no table or chairs. Considered to be a gite, no room cleaning. Evening restaurant corresponding more to a boarding house than a dinner with friends in a hostel; one dish for everyone and no vegetable supplements... When at breakfast, rarely seen as nothing. Little pieces of bread from the previous day but not at will; a glass of orange juice; biscuits, a small piece of beef, jam, honey per person; a hot drink. Going on a hike with this only in the belly is a shame. On the other hand, the bosses were smiling; but certainly inexperienced; they resumed this establishment 3 months ago.

Big disappointment

It's a great wolf pra experience in this inn, we spent four nights at the right price, breakfast is delicious, and the menu is made with local produce, and the staff is very friendly and helpful, and we can do it again without hesitation.

Holidays in the mountains

We stayed two nights at the Pra-Loup hostel very good stay patrons and waiters at the top full menu tasty and tasty for 25 euros the atmosphere is friendly and we have very nice meetings

We're offered a unique dish. Gold Mountain with questionable potatoes served with supermarket snacks and half-rotten salad. When we eat the salad we have the happy surprise of crunching a well-haired caterpillar and having a taste of rottenness in our mouth.

In short, if you like the hairs in your plates you 'll be served and the caterpillars in your salads.

We drove the Route des Grandes Alpes and mad a stop over in Barcelonnette, a town which we enjoyed a lot. However the hotel Auberge de Pra-Loup was the worst hotel experience I  had  in  the last 20 years. A shower built into the room and the toilet on the  aisle. Unfortunately we didn't have a choice since all other hotels were fully booked. The quality of the hotel would have  been acceptable of the price wouldn't have been €100 with a lousy breakfast. Try to avoid if you can

On a motorcycle road trip we stayed in this establishment for 2 nights but unfortunately it didn't match at all our expectations, clean rooms but furniture from another era, bad bedding, mattress covers from mommy's house 1970, towels and one for 2, 2 only taken for a large room including 1 for TV, simple bathroom lighting neon yellow, nonexistent simple faucets, breakfast biscuits, madeleine and fortunately for us fresh bread, no buffet of course everything is served on the table.

It's disappointing.

A spacious room with a big velvet and stunning view of the snowy peaks, very welcome and ready to serve, the boss will know who I am because he pulled me out of the gallery my little girl and me stuck in the snow, thank you sir I would come home as soon as possible, especially since during this period of Covid I've realized that if you were open, it was for love of your trade.
