The weekend at the castle for the 80 years of mabmaman, everything is sublime, the visit to the castle very well animated by the owner's son, the hyper well-maintained garden, an organ concert by the owner I loved (it's a hell of a character!) and we were very well accommodated, very charming! The party room is very well equipped.

Very beautiful castle hidden in the forest, beautiful rose garden and walk made for children and discovery of orchids and other (true) plants along the walk around the castle....the concert is gorgeous and the musician always leaves us amazed by his interpretation which has not changed for over 20 years because we have already heard and followed some concerts he gave on the island of Ré and in other cities...I do not understand the rating and commentary of Monsieur Jérôme R.

I'm not used to responding to social media reviews, each with their own feelings and opinions, but here Mr. Jerome R is really very strong in the affable. I know this castle before Mr. Thevenin and for the last nine years I've seen it transform and beautify over the years thanks to Mr. Thevenin and his family.

I'm upset

We stayed at the Château de Peufeilhoux and spent the 2nd night there (already in 2021) The magnificent room the resurgent castle. The visit to the castle, the museum, the organ concert the gardens the room, breakfast all with the owners of a rare kindness and passionate who do everything to make you spend a beautiful and pleasant stay.

It's a beautiful discovery.

Inside, our room was spacious and well decorated but no soundproofing! Between the cracking parks and the conversations of the room neighbors, some difficulties falling asleep. Regarding the surroundings of the castle, one is surprised to see for example a reproduction of a large African village, decorations (flowers, elves, fairies, mushrooms, woods, etc.) in resin or cement, and a museum with a collection of shells, various elements that seem to have nothing to do with the history of this castle. However, a magnificent collection of goldfish and beautiful rosary.

It's a nice castle, but the hotel looks better.

Warm welcome from the family owners of the place. Incredible castle with a thousand stories and a thousand hiding places. Out of time, we had booked a room for one night. The visit to the castle by one of the sons of the owner was wonderful, full of stories and humour. Told with heart. The incredible story of a castle with multiple owners whose last family fell in love and the successfully reworked and tasteful. I recommend to all this must-see passage through this castle. We will return to it as soon as possible. Thank you.

A wonderful time out of time

A family story, fantastic and very involved guests. The son took us to visit the castle which is very well furnished with anecdotes, very available to answer every question. There is also a small museum where the grandparents are collectors (fish, insects, animals...) a beautiful park with romantic, fantastic, humorous, childlike spaces, a small cave with a film that traces the life of the castle, and much more. A concert organ by the father who tells us about his dream, his passion. a pure moment of happiness and very moving. We had the Baron's room, back in time with all the comfort and necessity to live a magical moment that will remain in our memories. A big thank you to these passionate people for a fantastic stay.
