We just stayed overnight in this utterly charming manoir on our route south. It is well located not far off the main routes and near a quaint mediaeval town. Our host, Francois, welcomed us warmly even though we were late. The room for three was spacious and immaculately clean with comfortable beds for a restful sleep. Dawn brought sunrise over the valley view from our window and gentle bells from the church next door. Large breakfast spread with superbly fresh pastries and bread from the local boulangerie. Highly recommended. 

Charming overnight with views and great breakfast

We spent a splendid night here on our way from Paris to Omaha Beach. We got stuck in traffic jam on the motor way so had to take the small roads. In hindsight that was a good choice. You just get to see so much more of the countryside that way. Of course that meant we arrived pretty late, but the host was very friendly and understanding. Once you get past the gate the property is absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was great and the room was very tidy. We couldn't have hoped for a more relaxing place to spend a night.

Relaxing night

It's a great place to stop if you're traveling by car. And if you're with children, it's even better. It's easy to find, near the road. It's not far from Camembert and Livaro (the cheese road), if you want to see the production process, try it and buy it. There's a good restaurant in Orbeck.

French village

Very nice house in a large prairie overlooking the valley. Very quiet. Exceptional home, the owner came to greet us at the car exit with an umbrella. Very nice room, spacious, nicely decorated, welcome counter with madeleines, water... Breakfast is also perfect with many products (wine, bread, cheeses, ham, fruits...) and in quantity. The recommended restaurant, and taken care of by him, was also very good. We totally recommend.

Remarkable

We were stopping off on the way to the UK and needed a pet friendly place to stay and the manor fitted perfectly with its location near to  the port.
We had a warm welcome and a lovely room with great views.
Our dog was more than happy with plenty space and plenty of countryside for walks.
Had a great nights sleep and the breakfast was fantastic with great choice .
If you have a pet and you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet on you travels then it's perfect !

Brilliant !

Lovely old manor house with stables and beautiful views across the countryside.  Pet friendly with a big, freshly made breakfast in the morning.  Francois was very friendly and helpful and we had a lovely dinner he booked for us at the local restaurant.  You do need a car as it's quite remote, but easy to get back onto the motorway.  A lovely relaxing stop on our way back to the UK.

The owner is keen to make your stay as pleasant as possible, between Rustico and Señoría in a very quiet setting, a spectacular breakfast and if you make it in the garden more, it is very advisable.

Arriving at night, very friendly reception, the rooms are very comfortable, clean, well heated, the bathrooms and water are well equipped (presence of towels, soap, kleenex) the decoration is pleasant and welcoming, the bedding is perfect, a tray with snacks and some treats are available in the rooms. In the morning, a breakfast, cozy and refined, is served in the living room. The view of the rooms on the warm valley, the forest, the beauty of nature awakens a gentle sense of silence, the sun, the trees, the forest.

Luxury, Tranquility, and Pleasure

And yes, just perfect, faulty 0. A beautiful property with huge land, animals and nature... rooms with top comfort and what about a rich, divine breakfast, not to mention the owner who is a man of immense kindness.

It's perfect.
