This residence... I've never seen it before. More than average accommodation on our arrival: dust under the furniture and beds, dishwasher not working, electrical plate broken, light bulb broken, no wifi or TV... But the best comes after the departure when the agency kindly demanded us 70€ in case we didn't return the security check because their housekeeping staff had to clean for 2 hours.

Very bad reception agency at our arrival and our departure (proud and very unpleasant woman) - Access to the unopened apartments (70cm of snow). The snow came back into the hallway as soon as the door opened- Apartment planned for 10 but mini kitchen for 3 maxi, room with table for 8 grand maxi, lighting with 2 lamps for seamless atmosphere and slaughtered days burned by heat and no longer hold, some elec snakes didn't work, the shovel was supposed to date from last summer vacation, no dough, no bucket, we have to force to close open all the doors that wake the house the night, no shower like for the bathroom without counting the fleeces!!!

I wish I had read these other reviews before booking! 

I like to give places the benefit of the doubt, but accommodation like this, priced so high in peak periods, annoys me. We arrived early evening (and had to walk up from Centre Station as the shuttle buses had finished. This took about 20 minutes). At the residence, we then had to climb, almost on hands and knees, up a steep snowy bank, with all our luggage (see pictures).Then the agent told us we had to return to the office to collect our sheets (which we'd ordered in advance. Could someone not have delivered them earlier for us?)
The paths and entries to the residence were left in deep snow until day 4 of our trip. Going out, particularly at night, was very dangerous. Entry to the apartment was straight from deep snow into a tiled hallway, which was lethal and slippery, with no cloths available to dry the floors from wet footprints. 

I agree with other reviews - this apartment is not adequate for 10 people. We had 8, and whilst there were enough plates and glasses, the storage was non-existent; no hooks and only a few hangers. 

The ski store was nowhere near big enough for 10 people's equipment. We had to store boots and helmets in the apartment, although there was nowhere to put them. Also, there were only two keys to the apartment/ski store, which is not enough for 8-10 people, skiing in different groups and at different times all day.

The bedrooms on the top floor had no storage at all, apart from one chest of drawers (for 4 people). There were only two small lamps up there, and no natural daylight as the Velux windows in the roof were covered with snow.

I wouldn't call this apartment "ski-in/ski out." It took about 10 minutes (carrying equipment) to get to the car park down the road to access the nearest slope. This was exhausting at the end of the day coming back uphill.

Our teenage children (and us too) were appalled there was no wifi. Even phone coverage was very poor. They should make this clear when advertising or booking.

We liked the resort of Vars very much - great skiing, but would choose different accommodation next time.

Lucky not to break our necks

The apartment is very well located, you can almost walk back to the skis apartment. Unfortunately the apartment is noisy because of the presence of a bar and restaurant attached to the building.

Well-placed but noisy building

We spent a week with friends in this residence. The accommodation was generally spacious, but the minimalist comfort and cleanliness were just acceptable... It snowed and the way out of the residence was never cleared... Too bad. The departure and return of the tracks is almost skiing (provided there is snow). One good thing nonetheless: the small terrace was nice when the sun wanted to show itself! In conclusion, I would say very average quality/price ratio. The only thing that would make me go back there would be to have nothing else available!

It's not terrible.

We rented this apartment for 10 people for a week and we were very disappointed. The road to the apartment is not maintained, the apartment was particularly dirty, the main room is very small especially for 10 people (a couch only 4 seats), no lighting in the main room, a furnace that doesn't work, a lack of dishes, very dirty toilets, no coat for blouses, at 10 it's very convenient!!! bad general arrangement. Apartment abandoned, curtains barely hold, the handle of the shutters stayed in our hands, the paintings are painted and in addition we are told when we arrive that the stay tax has increased from 0.50 holidays to other holidays, please choose a good residence...
