The owner who was not present when we arrived had sent us the directions for our arrival. As we were going to park the car outside the dog bit me in the thigh. The next day, in the emergency room: antibiotics, vaccine, analgesics and relaxant, dressing. Fortunately, the shallow wound can be due to my jeans. 10 cm hematoma. Obviously not the first person to get modest.

Dog: Malinois trained for dangerous attack

The great setting of the old mill restored, but that's the only positive thing. No: another positive point is the good warmth in the room enjoyable in times of bad weather. Unavailable hospitality...not friendly at all. It's necessary to share the common spaces with an aggressive guard dog he does his job, she says... Lunch more than usual (hot coffee in thermos and rance cake served in a clean plastic box...) nothing to do with the descriptive goodies...except it can be a yogurt. Everything loose for the little house makes it impossible to have any conversation in mind... The hostess also offered us a breakfast on the table... at the foot of the bed...

Gross disappointment

We just spent one night in this guest room and were so disappointed with the cold welcome we were given, the room with the stained sheets, the three sheets of toilet paper left over for one night, and the breakfast was more than simple.

Disappointed

First very good phone approach, a very friendly and arranged person for the arrival time. The second time, it was not the same, it had to arrive before 7pm, when at first even late in the evening was not a concern. Arriving at the place, we park in a classroom but be careful not to steal the family seat! Parked behind another traveler's car, forced to move it in the morning, not very convenient. Medium clean room, your clothes to wear... toilets not much better done, SDB glassware. Small lunch to see half, not thirsty, no viennese: not having too much choice for the yogurt, the good yogurt! It was clearly not worth me to move it at a very low price. And the food on the table is very, very, very cold, and I have to make a little fuss about it.

One night is enough

It was an old farmhouse, with a lot of charm, but it came into its years. The room was small and partly unclean. But it was extremely quiet. The small breakfast with partly homemade things, was enough for us. The hostess was very nice and hardworking, she also spoke a little German. The cat and the court dog were also nice and passed by. Parking was no problem, you can get to Bourg-en-Bresse in 10 minutes by car. All in all, you shouldn't expect too much.

A farm with charm

The owner opened the room and the only thing that mattered to him was the payment and cash swp! We were shown the breakfast room with the finger, no visits, no explanation. Moreover, the latter was in a hurry because she had to confiscate her children. In short, within 5 minutes we were out at night, alone in the middle of the court. The bathroom had a potential but the minimal amount of chocolate and the old furniture didn't make it a very warm place.

Definition of the guest room to be completely revised!!!

It's characteristic, it's in an open countryside, it's well renovated and cozy. I got there in the dark at night and frankly I was afraid that I was going wrong because I was in the middle of nowhere. The room is spacious and so is the bathroom. Breakfast is plentiful based on typical homemade products. The downside is that you have to pay cash because credit cards or ATMs are not accepted.

Just Judgment Is Good

It's very close to the motorway exit so it's a good place to stop. Nice frame in an old mill, spacious and clean room. It's a shame that the toilet is glued to the toilet.

Very quiet

I booked a room on a Friday at noon for the next day. I received an email confirming my booking that same Friday. On Saturday (the day I was going to stay at your establishment), I was traveling alone on a motorcycle from Malgrat de Mar to Viriat (about 670 km). At 2pm on Saturday I got an email cancelling my booking, without giving any reason. I was driving my motorcycle in the middle of France alone, with no time just to look for accommodation (I had to continue driving my motorcycle to get to work on time on Monday in Munich), and it was Bastille Day, so there were barely any hotels left (and even fewer hotels where to leave the error medium safe at night).

They left me hanging.

We stopped here on our way south, it is about 15 minutes from the motorway and very well signposted. Here you are indeed up for a charming experience, the 12th century stone buildings are incredible and the owner has even prepared a leaflet with the history of this property! There is ample secured parking (a must for us of course), the room was spacious basic but very charming. Breakfast was great, there is all you need and most of what is available is homemade! Cannot ask for more.
