The breakfast was great, the host was very friendly, and the room was modern yet decorated in a homey manner! The key soup still needs to be learned, but it was no longer a problem, as someone immediately came and handed me the key. I would love to come back!

Very good breakfast, nice host. Nice room.

The first time I was in this really beautiful, lovingly decorated hotel. The hotel consists of only four rooms in an old house in the historic old town. The room was very clean and beautifully furnished, so that no one wanted to stay open. Because of the few rooms, there is no permanent occupied reception, but a code for the key sauce is sent by mail. If you have questions, there is a phone number that is immediately available for help. Breakfast is served lovingly and richly in the former guest room of the museum.

Beautiful little family hotel

The Hotel Museumstube is a small but fine hotel in Ansbach. The stay there is always very pleasant. The rooms are cozy and very clean. The breakfast is great. Delicious sandwiches, homemade jam and fresh orange juice. There is a very friendly and warm atmosphere.

A cozy hotel

Very nice and cozy hotel in the heart of Ansbach. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is loving and sufficient. The only criticism was a very dirty glass in the room, if you put the overall impression it was a sure mistake. Would definitely stay overnight again.

Very pleasant

I arrived at this hotel at around 4.00pm to find it locked up, dark and nobody in. After ringing the bell for 5 minutes I found a notice on another door with a number to call if there is nobody in. I called this number twice, 5 minutes apart - no answer. Dragging my luggage around the town centre, I came to the Tourist Information Office where I told my story. They tried calling someone, and eventually found someone who said they'd be at the hotel in 15 minutes.

I was woken up each morning by church bells, just across the road, starting at 6.00am and then every 15 minutes.

So, if you are happy to drag your luggage around town for 90 minutes in the rain, and then be woken up at 6.00am every morning, this place could be perfect for you.

My room itself was quite nice, but there is no aircon and no fridge. Breakfast in Continental, and adequate.

Nightmare from start to finish

Beautiful rooms, all top-notch clean, excellent breakfast, the host took care of us extremely kindly and kindly. And during the breakfast, there was no crying from the Dudelph Radio, but pleasant classical music. Very stylish! We felt very comfortable there. Great recommendation!

A unique hotel

We found an informal but neat environment in the center of town, with a large parking lot nearby, comfortable and suggestive room, neat, fresh and rich breakfast, hospitality and unpretentious kindness, near the two most important churches and the Christmas market square and the Margrave's Museum.

One night in Lutheran Bavaria

this is a wonderful little family-run place. The rooms are exceptional, very clean and spacious. The breakfast that's included with the room is opulent and the family is very attentive to your needs. The place is right in the old town. Some travelers on reviews elsewhere had mentioned the church bells (which is right across), but for me, this was no problem at all. It has a homey feeling to it in this medieval town. At least it woke me up in time for breakfast!  I can certainly recommend this place!
Please note: it is now only a hotel, with a great breakfast for the guests. No restaurant operation.

A great place to stay

Getting there from the fair was relatively painless. They picked me up from the station and even gave me a litte tour of the town of Ansbach, which is pretty  too with its baroque Squares and Churches- in the middle of which the hotel is situated. My single room was smallish with no view, but very well appointed, with a comfy bed, pristine new bathroom, crisp cotten covers, and big TV on the wall. They cooked for me at 9.30 p.m. in their own cosy bar ( food ranges from fresh salads to sausage and fries, drinks from a decent selection of german and italian wines, locally brewed beers and proper cocktails).  Breakfast was another strong point. Fresh fruit salad, homemade jam, softboiled eggs from very happy hens called hugo and bertha, crispy rolls, ham and cheese, fresh orange juice, you name it. And such friendly welcoming easy going chatty people! Go there! You'll enjoy it!

Very very nice family run mini hotel about 40min on the direct train from nuremberg Central Station.
