A residence that delivers excellence!!! Beautiful and quiet rooms, good bedding. The place is beautiful, between courtyard and castle; next to the vineyards, it's just fairy tale! The team is very friendly, breakfast is excellent! The rates are a little high, but, it's worth the shot, it's deserved! Unfortunately, because it was closed, we couldn't enjoy the restaurant, but, we'll definitely be back.

It's a great place, a great team.

The cuisine is fine, the offer is not too big, fortunately, because we have experienced that a big menu card does not mean a big kitchen. Our Loup de Mer was a poem that perfectly set the Mediterranean side to the point. The friandises are gorgeous, the wine in the glass ok. The wine card is local and international. I would love to go back to sleep: next door, quietly in a clean room with air conditioning, shower/WC.

Eat well and sleep well

We recently enjoyed a two night stay here. I had my birthday meal at the restaurant which deserves five stars on its own. The chef and his wife work very hard making sure the experience is worthy of the Michelin Star. It is also a beautiful space,especially for breakfast!
  I gave four stars because our room left a bit to be desired. There was a lift to the third floor, but one night it was not working and there was nobody to tell. You are completely separated from management. Our room faced the courtyard of the castle. Our window had nothing but a sheer curtain, so it became very bright once the sun rose. Also, service vehicles for the winery rumbled across the bricks underneath our window and woke us up very early. It was the least restful room I’ve had in many stays. Not good for those needing sleep. It also became very warm in the room, and there was no frig for cold drinks or fans to move the air. We loved the location and the pleasant village, however. A few needed changes in the room would be nice.

Lovely place

A lovely hotel between the wine-yards in Baden-Baden. Nice and clean rooms with a nice view over the wine-yards. The suite was just perfect with a lot of space and nice furnitures. Beds were good, not to hard bedmadresses. An x-a plus for the winery close to the hotel and  nice tastings. Recommended!

Among the wineyards

We were a little bit disappointed when we arrived, but this might also be because of the rain. 
There was no one at the reception and it took us 15 min to find anyone to check us in. A waitress from the restaurant showed us the room, but she didn't speak English. The room it self was okay, but nor the air conditioning or the wifi worked, at all. 
Breakfast was very good though. 
We slept here on our way to Italy and had a reservation for the way back home. We cancelled, because we didn't find it worth the money to sleep here again. 

Good sleep

Whe traveld from Freiburg to the north and wanted to stay at a relaxed place. We stopped in Baden-Baden a small busy city. I checked tripadvisor and we found this hotel. just out the city.

I booked the suite. It was great. Amazing. Nice bath, lot's of space and great views. We had a tasty diner in the castle. Nice relaxed, tasted some wines. Staff was very friendly.

Will come back for sure with my roadbike and enjoy Schwarzwald, wine and food.

One nigth relaxing between winery

The hotel is just lovely ,clean , friendly good value for money . The restaurant was first class for gourmet dining and a Michelin Star. The owners of the Hotel were fabulous.
The owner of the Castle and winery was so kind to take us round the winery and share a bottle of wine with us chatting and been educated about German wine.
Baden-Baden is must see and would recommend the Roman Thermal baths and gardens.

Perfect place to Explore.

I was invited here, so I can't say anything about the price/performance ratio. The ambience is great and the buildings are quiet. The winter garden we were in is decent, but nothing more. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dishes were always ok and delicious. But I think star food presents itself differently. I lacked the special ideas.

It's all right.

The food we ate at noon and evening was really excellent. Everything was harmoniously coordinated. Unfortunately, it's on the menu of stuffed animal goosebumps. That's animal cruelty and therefore banned in Germany. So the goods have to be imported from France. You can also process quite normal goosebumps, which taste exactly the same, but is a little more expensive. Also, the service left to be desired on those two days. During the lunch it took too long between each gang. The breakfast also has to be ordered. Also here you can have over a quarter of an hour on a second cup of coffee or fresh ham. If you don't give up a buffet, you should at least make the service so that you don't have to wait. Then I didn't get the answer because of the style of the restaurant, but I didn't get it right.

Very good food, unfortunately goose bumps of stuffed animals on the map

I would recommend the hotel as much as the restaurant whose services have nothing to envy of large houses. Quiet, bedding, kitchen, service, everything is almost perfect. Almost all is because the menus are not in French and nobody speaks the language of Molière and it is really a shame. The second almost comes from the clarity of the information for check in and check out. For the rest thank you!
