A few days after the trip started, Town Apartments Checkpoint Charlie cancelled the booking. The payment had been requested and had been made virtually at the time of booking long before. So we had to rush to find another solution which we obviously paid again and at a higher price.

It's totally negative.

The phone call in English (poor quality) the day before to tell me that the hotel was closed... I ask for an email to make sure I understood and have confirmation that I will be well refunded the amount, and I am told that there is no internet, that they can't send an email almost screaming on the phone...

Reservation canceled the day before!

The vote is low and it's not what I wanted to give to this facility because of the reception staff, who are not available and rude, and especially because they only provide one key!!! Being in six and in Berlin for work, it was an undertaking to coordinate to have the key run between us. For the rest of the apartment it's spacious, clean and well equipped.

Oh, that's too bad.

We were 5 people, with very different commitments. The administration handed us a single key. Despite our repeated careful requests they always refused to make duplicates and warned us not to try to provide for ourselves. It takes the condo's permission to duplicate the keys to the houses in Berlin, oh yes and the blacksmiths require it. We had a single key even for the door to the stable entrance. For security reasons (the office of Town Apartments was in the same roundabout) they always refused to keep the key during the office hours that might be required.

Stay out of it.

I don't give the max just because I paid for a service which I didn't use. For the rest our apartment on the 6th floor with elevator was very nice and equipped with all the comforts.

Too bad the wireless doesn't work.

It's really a shame, because the location is good, the apartments are well-equipped and nice. But when we got to 7 to take the big apartment with a terrace and barbecue reserved for 750 euros, it was taken. We had to squeeze into a smaller apartment, and it was without a terrace, which changed the way we handle holiday meals and the budget. We accepted this change without railing, rather cool. And the worry is that I've been waiting for six months for the refund of the 200 euros difference between the two apartments! No one answers me by email anymore.

The apartment was very spacious for four people, but the kitchen was not equipped for four, there were no plates and dishes, the bed was a bit uncomfortable with old mattresses and repaired pillows, the apartment lacked carpets and the bright curtains didn't cover the light, and I had paid 20 euros more a day to have a double bed and two single beds instead there were only two double beds.

I couldn't give any further notice, my booking was cancelled the night before the hotel didn't arrive or say to pre-authorize my credit card. My booking was over a month old though. I had been warned two days before the problem and had first checked my credit card references and then called the hotel to make sure everything was OK and that they didn't hesitate to contact me again if there was any problem. After learning about the cancellation the night before, I called the next morning for an explanation, they told me the problem on my credit card and my confirmation the day before was cancelled, the hotel is back. So the same day I have to confirm that I have a full-time rental of a hotel in Prague that will be cancelled without any problem.
