We arrived after 6pm so the reception was closed. All the lights were off and there was no noise in the building. The place was a little rusty at the start. It wasn't until the next day that we learned that the place would close the day after we left. Which explains the lack of life I imagine.

We were the last customers of this establishment.

Corner Hostel is the place to be for singles/couples. Its perfectly located in the heart of Malta but still quiet enough to get the rest you need. Public transportations, convenience stores, restaurants, bars, and bays are in walking distance. Staff is nice and friendly and makes  sure u feel safe. They remember your name and are interested in your wellbeing any time.
Can't imagine a better place to stay for the price than at Corner Hostel.

What a stay!

For the price good value 
Toilets were leaking and showers not very good - unclear which is female and male and one is scolding hot!
Rooms quite spacious beds and pillows not very comfortable 
WiFi awful 
People not very friendly and not very responsive to needs 
Good location as long as you want to use public transport - would recommend BERLIN WELCOME CARD 
Kitchen facilities were fine 
Nice social space and dining area

A hostel that has everything needed for students or anyone who wants to travel to Berlin looking for cheap accommodation. Kitchen (with refrigerator, microwave and glassware with cooking utensils) dining room-living room, wifi and shared bathrooms. We rented a spacious room and the reception was attentive and friendly with us. In addition, it has a supermarket nearby and a subway stop we used to go to every day to get to any part of Berlin. It is a good hostel, normal and cozy that will do everything you need on this trip and at a good price. I recommend buying breakfast at a pastry shop on the way to a park.

RUDE STAFF, very very very rude!!! Asian girl was looking like she has no will to live. Everyone working there were VERY unfriendly. 
Kitchen VERY DIRTY WITH BUGS and old food. Wifi didn't work in our room. The whole hostel had strange smell. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Also it is very far from all nightlife and attractions.

Horrible staff and VERY DIRTY

Hostel was a disaster, staff was rude and they seemed like they have any will to live. kitchen and room was dirty. Kitchen equipment was dirty and old food in the fridge.You need to pay extra for bed sheets. No fen for blow drying hair. I highly recommend others to choose anything else then this hostel.  
The hostel may be cheap but its really not worth it.

Cheap and dirty

Nice and clean hostel. In a quiet residential area but convenient to the subway. Always clean services and spacious rooms. We were family, in rooms of four, and we found each other well. Nice and pleasant common areas. We used the kitchen little, just x breakfast, and a quick dinner. Maybe it deserved better cleaning, but for a few days' stay it's fine! Available and kind staff. We were two families and we found each other very well!

Have a good vacation.

If you're late and there's no cash, get ready to look for a cash machine. For each person 3 euros extra for a bed and for two towels (big and small) for a person for 2 euros. I've changed my bed 2-3 times, I'm just starting to change my bed, I've found a few leftovers of food and laundry in the bathroom, I've been asked to clean up the bathroom, I've been to the bathroom, I've been to the bathroom, I've been to the bathroom, I've been to the bathroom, I've been to the bathroom, I've been to the bathroom, and I've been to the bathroom.

a shower could use an update, and the shower and the toilet could be separated. there was one weird guy there (don't know if he's a part of the family, one of the owners or a friend of owners), but some other people from the staff were nice and helpful. there is enough s-bahn, u-bahn and tram lines close to the hostel

ok place, but nothing special

The staff at the corner hostel was by far the most unfriendly I've ever seen in all my hostels. The wet cells, the ambiance and the location are far from adequate, not to mention bed bugs.
