In Dietfurt, it seems, almost exclusively cyclists who want to go to the Old Canal and then to the Danube stay overnight. There is a separate garage for the bicycles in the hotel. The rooms are convenient. The TV is somewhat oddly set - the TV while you are in bed only goes when you are lying across. The breakfast is good and sufficient. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly.

Enough for a short stay

On our way to our hike, we stayed there for one night. We were welcomed and had a nice room. The breakfast was good and sufficient. The staff were also very friendly.

Very good location and nice rooms

During a bicycle tour, I stayed and ate there. The rooms were about the same as in the 1970s, with a small flat screen, but so unfavorable that no one can look out of bed without a scratch, both soap dispensers in the bathroom were empty and could not be filled, the mattress had urine stains.

I need to make improvements.

During our bike tour, we visited the post office in Dietfurt with seven people. The tablecloth had a big tomato sauce stain, and on request it was replaced, although not with a smile or an apology. The omelettes were ok, the roasted sausages apparently from the pack from the supermarket. As Frank, you know how good roasted sausages should taste. It was still smiling, so our evening was still pretty ok.

Well, that's it.

After we had put our wheels down, the rooms were moved. The room door seemed to be in need of repairs, but everything was fine behind it. The bathroom was almost the size of the room, enough room for one person. Unfortunately, a fan burned under the window that ran all night, so the window had to be closed unfortunately. For this, breakfast and dinner were very good (pork fries), as well as the price-performance ratio. Ideal for a bike tour.

Five-River Cycle Tour, the fourth night

The guesthouse for the post is a typical country guesthouse with an appropriate ambience. The gas room is clean, bright and friendly. Dogs are allowed and are kindly welcomed at least by the service, which is overall very friendly and smooth. There are local wild food specialties and vegetarian food. On my request for vegan food, I got a large, tasty vegetarian. My companion tasted the wild food.
