We used this hotel for a two night stop on our way around Northern Europe. On a budget, we used budget hotels. We chose it as it was close to Aachen and its cathedral.
The reception from the owner was warm and welcoming. The room basic, but comfortable and in general better than most budget hotels.
The restaurant downstairs offered a range of Greek dishes and some German ones. We eat in the restaurant both nights and found the portions quiet large. Good food though and very pleasant surroundings.
We also made use of the restaurant for breakfast. 
All in all, a great little find to break up our trip.

A great little find

We always eat super deliciously! Can I recommend the lamb chops from the heart, just like the Gyros? Cleanliness is very much respected and the staff is very friendly and friendly. More than satisfied!

Great visit!

It's quiet, close to the city centre, a good Greek restaurant in the house, the rooms are clean and tidy, friendly staff, a normal buffet breakfast, nothing missing, most guests are mountaineers and other outdoor servants, so in the morning they're a little restless, but they're all good, and a real recommendation.

Good stay for a few nights.

Great, all very clean rooms, nice owner- good food very nice staff just perfect just to recommend the best hotel in the Aachen area. Hotel Mykonos doesn't have to hide from the big hotel names. The rooms are very high quality furnished. Everything hotel, restaurant everything is very clean. The breakfast is rich. Thank you very much for the nice hospitality in Eschweiler.

The best hotel

Having  spent a wonderful night 10;years ago, we went out of our way to visit here again this trip, not a good idea!  We were put in new wing of rooms, up a very steep stairs into a room that was not great. The mini-bar fridge door wouldn’t close once you opened it.  The shower head was broken, just sloppy things that weren’t being maintained.
The Greek Restaurant which we loved last time was awful, the waiter was grumpy although he did soften towards end of the evening.  Everything we were served was poor.  I ordered Tsaziki to start which came in a large soup plate served with chunks of bread😱 instead of Pitta bread. My next course was inedible, maybe one should hold on to the happy memories and not try to repeat them. Never ever again.

Nice place, nice people, nice prize... Thank for all . I be back to see you again at the next travel , lovely place and very quaint room , the best breakfast and very good wifi in my room , and you have the better Greece cook in the Germany

Nice place

This quirky hotel is three hours thirty minutes from the port of Dunkirk just off the E40 motorway.so just right for a break if you are travelling towards Austria or Northern Italy.Our comfortable room was airy ,large and clean.the Greek connection is everywhere.in the decor in the wine list and most of all in a very good menu .we dined ,drank and slept well and after a good if simple breakfast.we were back on the road south.

Break the journey

At nine o'clock at night, I left my things in the room that was smelling fatal to humidity and plumbing. I went to dinner and when I was in the middle of dinner the owner who smelled of alcohol came and told me that I had to go, that my room was reserved and was for other customers who were there at the door.

A total disaster.

I was here to pick up the bus, nothing special, simple, good and cheap, the rooms have LAN, the password is at the front desk, but it's not always busy, because there's also a Greek snack.

Simple but good

If you are travelling between Cologne and Aachen, you will find a motorway nearby, which is generally reasonable accommodation. It is easy to get there, free parking is available. The reception is friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom are spaciously generous and clean with WiFi and reasonable TV. The Greek restaurant is quite pleasant, but the restraint is the way past the toilets. I would consider the breakfast worth improving, everything is packed and the choice is not really worth anything. Price/performance is fine. As an alternative for business travelers, it is quite possible to go on holiday or stay longer.
