We were at a family party in the restaurant with about 30 guests. None of us stayed overnight. The restaurant/hotel is in the green just outside the city limits of Osnabrück. There are enough parking spaces. The building is positively inspired by the charm of the 1960s/70s excursion venues, but was largely carefully renovated by the owner's family while maintaining the architectural features. Large outdoor terrace, partially covered, and a very large children's playground. The interior is made up of different sections and is partially variablely detachable. Small to medium sized spaces with good care and attention were provided by the owner's family. We were able to find a very good food and convenience ratio. Everything was very good.

Solid performance at the restaurant

One night at the hotel, idyllically located, simple clean rooms, very nice, always trying staff, the food tasted good, and if you're riding your bike, I think you can take a rest.

Simple and clean

I was really disappointed from that Hotel. Even if it is quiet cheap, (57 €) the night, the smell witch came out of the Kitchen (oily smell) is so terrible that you just want to leave. Rooms in the first floor seem to be ok, my room in the second floor was old-fashioned, not even a proper separated bathroom. Hand wash was completely in the room and the shower just behind one store.
Maybe it is just what you can ask for 57 €. Beside this, the food was ok and the staff dedicated.

Really disapointed

In fact... the building and the restaurant have come to life... the staff are very friendly and hospitable... we've been here for coffee... homemade cake... waffles and a big cup of milk coffee at a really fair price.

Sunday coffee.

We were invited to a wedding at the Waldesruh Hotel. First impression: a quiet, landscaped area. Enough parking and a great terrace to see at first glance. Since we came from outside, we booked a hotel room. It's not the newest, but it's still clean and equipped with everything that's needed. The celebration was super- with delicious food and very attentive service. Very well wrapped and there was even a handicapped toilet. Super we found that the next morning we could all have breakfast together at the hotel and it kind of worked out at home. We could sit for a long time and have a nice dinner at the restaurant. We'll be back at the hotel/restaurant anyway!

Idyllish, family atmosphere

We used to stay here in the 1990s and always enjoyed the quiet location and good food in the restaurant. The rooms are on the second floor of an old building that has been well maintained. There is a charm in the way the bathrooms were built on, but it sometimes requires a little manouvering. It seems to be family-run and everyone was very pleasant. Good, simple dinner and breakfast buffet. Not outstanding, but good value for the price.

Memory lane

The hotel has actually gotten into the years - unfortunately. rooms are already quite in need of customization and at 75 euros for a DZ incl FS not exactly a bargain. but the staff is really friendly and for one night it's just like that - but I wouldn't want to take a vacation there.
