Unfortunately, there are no masks in the interior of the building, and on demand, we said that it was no longer necessary, so we went somewhere else.

Food and service excellent, hygiene concept insufficient

My wife had ordered the cherry cake and I had ordered two balls of strawberry ice cream. The cake was a treat. The ice cream was made of two mini-melted balls. There was an extra-large ball of ice cream on the card. The waiter said to apologize that strawberry ice cream didn't exist as a big ball. Besides, he didn't make the ball. You're sitting very nicely in the garden and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. If only my ice cream had been whole.

...large room in the annex, very quiet, good breakfast and generally friendly staff. Parking at home and very close to a large public parking lot. Internet (at least for iOS) moderate or not possible. We had dinner at a restaurant one evening and were satisfied with the food.

We were satisfied...

We were guests at this hotel on a business trip. It's a building made from a characteristic windmill. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The restaurant serves typical local dishes, with a good selection of beers. The village is quite small, but well-ordered and well-maintained. The breakfast buffet might deserve some extra choices.

Good hotel, good restaurant

Unfortunately, during a family meeting, we booked this hotel on recommendation. Room decor: IKEA, not lying! Bathroom: wall tiled, PVC on the floor. Balcony door hanging upstairs, so opening this door was almost impossible. Fortunately, we were on the road from morning till evening, because the staff left us waiting for minutes at the counter, both at check-in and check-out, without paying attention, even though no other guests were present.

3 days of discouragement

A diverse and high-quality breakfast with branded drinks. The breakfast in the Winter Garden is more beautiful than the photos on their website. Our hotel room in the EU was clean and quiet. The entire hotel complex is not on a street, but in a residential area near the church.

The four of us took dinner at this better than average restaurant.
In the hangover from Christmas the menu was for shortened.
I had a shrimp salad which had real brown shrimps rather than thawed deep frozen freshwater prawns flown in from the Far East. A good sauce and light salary washed down by a particularly good  Prosecco. For my main I had sliced brisket of beef slow cooked in red wine and a sensible selection of vegetables.  It melted in the mouth washed down by a surprising fruity Italian house merlot.  For puddings I had a concoction of hot plumbs and almond inpregnated ice cream.  Others had a mixed Fish dish and the house pinogrigio and the panacota.
A really good meal at good price.

Third day of Christmas and still on form

The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and the staff was nice too. The food is good. As this category does not exist, one of the fish dishes that was undercooked make it swing to average rather than very good. This was a shame as the dishes looked very good. However the gravad Lachs in the appetizer was hard to find and they did not even ask how the steak should be cooked. My request for medium rare did clearly not find any fertile soil. They had some people ill in the kitchen which might have contributed.

Gut Buergerliche Kueche

It's a charming little hotel where we enjoyed the quiet. We also rented the large adjacent room for a wedding. The only problem is that the couches are too small for us, the French who are used to very large couches. Breakfast is delicious and the hotel is very well maintained, both outside and inside. You can stroll along the edges of the canal that is nearby. Really very nice.

Quiet and very clean

We arrived on our bikes after a long days cycling along the river Elbe and were nmade very welcome despite our disshevelled appearance! The rooms was very comfortable with excellent beds. The restaurant offered delicious food and excellent service at a reasonable price. The location is a dream and the buildings have been very tastefully refurbished in their traditional style. We would very highly recommend this hotel and plan to return for a longer stay.
