waking up in the middle of the night is something only the traveler need to do so Airport Hostel was a great option for me. My room was clean and gave me the rest I need. I reach the airport after a safe and well lighted  15 minutes walk. 
My only suggestion would be to increase the number of power outlets as the available ones were only near a specific bed that was not mine.

Excellent option if you have a really early flight out

We booked a family room for 4 people, since we had a lot to do and visit, and wouldn't spend a lot of time in our room. The room was surprisingly good, there was no noise frm the airport, freeparking and wifi. And since my son has allergies, we could even bring our own food and dine in the common rooms.

Good value for your money

The airport hostel is also a nice hostel. The multi-bed rooms were very clean, so there was nothing to worry about the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. Everything was clean, the rooms were simple, but decorated appropriately. The rooms can only be opened with a code card. The room also has locks that can be closed for every guest. The locks can also be opened with the code card, so they are very safe. Strangers (no guests) can enter neither the elevator nor the doors to the individual rooms without a code card. So you can enter very different rooms, but you can also buy very different locks for the elevator, locks and locks, but you can also buy a breakfast and breakfast, but you can also buy a snack and breakfast. The hotel is also convenient to go to the airport, so there is also a convenient dining room in the city, but there is also a convenient dining room in front of the hotel.

Recommended hostel - good and cheap

We stayed here overnight as we had an early start in the morning. Welcome was very welcoming given cards for room quickly. Room was 4 bed female room plenty of space nice and clean. Lockers are provided whese contain your bedding which you put on youself. We had 2 toilets 1 shower so plenty room. Would use the hostel again as only a short walk to airport and well enough lit.

Quality for a cheap price.

First of all, as its name is saying is very close to HAM Airport. 15 minutes of walking and you are there. It's very nice and clean, but also damn noisy. Friendly staff is a plus. Maybe the breakfast too, I did not have to time to try it as I stayed just for few hours there having a connection in HAM. Big minus: no power outlets can be easily reached from most beds (esp. for travelers only staying a night and continuing on in the morning - the main target audience for an airport hostel - this would be a great addition).

Ok for transit

Public transportation is available from both the airport and the centre (40 minutes: U + bus 174, 392, 4 minutes on foot, IBIS guidelines). Bus 606 runs very rarely!! Round-the-clock registration desk. Lift. Good breakfast (7 euros): cotton, meat and cheese cut, eggs, yogurt, fruit, good coffee, tea, juice. Excellent large bathroom (in a 6-month shower room and 3 bathrooms).

Excellent budget option for transit overnight stays

Because of a very early flight, I chose this overnight accommodation near the airport. The carpet is stained, the shower curtain is already folded. Unfortunately, there is no storage and no plunger on the bed. The bathroom is amazingly clean.

Airport location as a plus

Just few steps from hamburg airport. Eased up my first ever hamburg trip. Clean, secured, friendly environmen. Very calm and quite destinatio. A cordial set of staff determined to satisfy its guest. Thanks

Best affordable accommodation

Liked everything. 
 Location near the airport. 10 minutes walk. Easily find. 
At the airport there is a supermarket, cafe. 
The staff is very welcoming, English speaking.  
Registration took 2 minutes. 
Be sure to use the hostel for transit flights through Hamburg.

Great accommodation for undemanding travelers.

For a weekend trip, the accommodation was fine. The rooms were simple, but clean and tidy, which is the most important thing for us. Breakfast for 6.50 euros is also not possible. When the windows are closed, you hear absolutely nothing about the flights.
