I adore this hotel on the Elbe, fantastic views, charming service. Nothing is too much, great breakfast with the best views! Choice of bedrooms with a river view and even top floor rooms with a terrace.  I’ll definitely be back 😊 well done Am ELBUFER team

Fab place to stay in Finkenwerder

Finkenwerder where is this? It is a small island in the Elbe only a few kilometres outside of Hamburg, easily reached by car or by the Hamburg harbour ferries.
Here you find Hotel am Elbufer, calmly situated with an overview of the ships in and out of Hamburg. Good breakfast buffet in the morning restaurant and nice rooms. We had this as our base in Hamburg, and used the ferry to get to the center and back, a scenic tour at the Elbe.

Nice hotel with a view at fair price

This hotel has an amazing location on the river bank, and with a room with a terrace, you are sure to be entertained looking at all the amazing ships passing by. It is a small hotel, but our room was spacious and very clean - so was the rest of the hotel. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is okay, but nothing special, and the beds are a bit hard. All in all we are very satisfied with our stay.

Location, location, location

I spent one night there for a business trip. The place is friendly with a beautiful view of the Elbe. The service is pleasant and breakfast is good. Careful, close early in the evening, information to open the hotel reception to provide in English, not all guests speak German especially when you receive the booking from France.

Good quality price ratio and beautiful view

I am currently a guest with you! I have a room with Elbblick, which makes the view perfect. If I book a room with Elbblick, I can live very well with the noise of the ship (only with the windows open)! If you don't get a room with Elbblick, it wouldn't be bad, because I can enjoy the view at the latest at breakfast or just have to fall out the door:-) and you can already look directly at the Elbe. The landing bridge is a few feet away, absolutely inside. The room is perfect enough for the size, everything you need and feel comfortable. The service at the reception as well as breakfast is absolutely friendly and family friendly. It is a hotel to feel comfortable, but with small, fine flair. Always happy to come back.

Top location + nice atmosphere

We would like to have booked one of the Elblick rooms on the top floor - but you have to get up early. Quiet and very close to the centre thanks to frequent ferry traffic. Very nice service and fine breakfast. Everything you need is available. The walls could be a little thicker with loud roommates, but whoever gets tired enough from the Hamburg trip will soon not listen to the neighbor's TV. The price-to-table ratio is absolutely fair. And whoever comes here by car like us can't get better in Hamburg. Glad to see you again!

Great location and nice little.

We had a room overlooking the Elbe, so we could observe the shipping traffic without hindrance. Even if you have to pay more for it than for the back rooms, it is worth it. The rooms and bathroom were very clean and well equipped. The breakfast is very good. From the breakfast room you can also have a wonderful view of the Elbe.

Large ships close by

Here, you can see the ships coming in and going out the Hamburg harbor. Also the Airbus A320 to A389 are fling over your heads occasionally. Not to forget the transport planes from Airbus Industry..That is so cool
