During a training session, I was staying for 2 nights in January 2023 at the Parkhotel. With me 15 people M/F for training. The underground garage under the house was 5 euros a day. In all hotel rooms, training rooms, walks and restaurant there was a quick W-Lan. Breakfast buffet, lunch as a menu, dinner menu (these menus were commissioned by the organizer of the training. Vegetarian, meat, fish, soup and dessert. The food was really delicious. The restaurant is only open to conference guests have booked the rooms. In addition to the hotel rooms there are several senior accommodations. The residents have a separate entrance to the Luxembourg Bauhaus restaurant at the end of January, but most shops were empty at the end of January.

Top location 5 minutes walk to all pilgrimage sites

Spontaneously booked, own parking garage. About 145€ per night with family, child, dog, breakfast and parking. The hotel is a combined hotel and old-age home. There is a pool and sauna. Our room was very large. Wireless also works. Dinner was not available at the hotel, but thanks to the central location there are some restaurants in the area. Hotel staff were nice and attentive. The only shortcoming was that the sewage pipes in the bathroom smelled a little.

Central location, very spacious room, good breakfast

Rooms are Ok , clean and spacious. The hotel brings you back in the 70;s. Very traditional. Staff was professional but not really friendly. Probably a bit depressed because of this whole covid hassle. 
Booked via booking.com. The pre-information was a bit disappointing. Most facilities, like the fitness, were closed. Would be nice if we knew in advance.

The town of Kevelaer is nice but with a strong focus on old and religious people.

A Good Friendly Staff

We spent 2 nights at the hotel, but unfortunately very restless. The house is very bright and the windows are partly in an inner courtyard. There is music or loud screaming until late into the night up to the rooms (we had the window open because of the temperature). The mattress was flat and did the rest for the sleepless night. The carpet floor in the hall and in the room was unfortunately covered with stains. The whole hotel has gotten a little old and could need a renovation urgently.

Very old hotel but super nice staff

The hotel is somehow old and shares it's hallways with a home for the elderly which is really a unique setting. The TV in my room was broken and the WIFI did not work. The bandwidth was so low, I barely wasn't able to write this review! I can only recommend this hotel for it's cheap prices.

The 80s called and wanted the hotel back.

A very convenient hotel to go to the Kevelaer  Church other than that there is nothing much to mention about the hotel. The staff speak good English and very helpful. It is very clean and ideal for the travelers visiting the church.

First of all, the city of Kevelaer is almost dead in winter time.
No people in the streets and shops, no reason to visit unless you need to stay over night because of flights. The hotel rooms are more close to B&B or even hostel, you can not expect anything like in a hotel. The floor carpets will be an issue if anyone has astma or bad allergy because they are dusty and dirty. The rooms were quite cold and heating started to work only after 22.00. The place is as earlier written in reviews in some kind of combination of: Gallerie, hostel, home for very old people or disabled people, SPA, shopping centre- we did not actually get the picture what it is. We think there were no other hotel guests at all in mid February. The room for 2 adults and one child cost 124 EUR incl breakfast. A strange hotel experience, maybe you should try just to see this yourself.
BUT: the employees in reception were kind, helpful and nice. They opened the SPA section in the -1 floor for us, so we had a very private experience of a heated sauna, infra red sauna, Finnish sauna, showers, towels, toilets- just for our selves for several hours. This was really nice and might even consider the hotel again if need to visit to Kevelaer again.

I had visited this Hotel during Drupa 2016 and was arranged by Orbit Travel group from India. Yes it is an outdated Hotel with minimal staff . But rooms were clean . But the place Kevelaer is great. though far away from the city , the rail connectivity is good , accessible near the Highway. the Churches are good and it is a sort of Holy place where I was told million of visitors  come . Wifi was very poor , but for Drupa the Indian company Orbit made arrangement for Indian food and it was very good. This Hotel also accommodates an old age home and hence an odd combination, not so cheerful.
For exhibitions like Drupa this may be OK as no hotel is available.

A good experience at Parkotel Kevelaer

It seems the hotel houses a home for nuns close to a church inside the hotel - I never saw that before. Not much staff seen - I never found reception. Dinner was average: the starters' buffet was very delicious and the main course buffet was rather poor. Breakfast buffet was fine. Clean and spacious rooms.
