They had a room with a balcony and a great view of the old mill valley. Everything was renovated. Good standard. Nice people, very uncomplicated. Good quality restaurant and good prices. They got a dessert on the house.

Good price-performance ratio

The hotel is situated between two scenic and very charming stages of the panoramic route, so you can save yourself additional steps to accommodation. My room was new and tastefully equipped, with a super comfortable bed (a real good fortune along the way:-)) and with a view from the balcony to the rocky-beautiful old countryside. The contact with the staff was extremely friendly. An absolute highlight of my hike!

I highly recommend this newly renovated hotel.

The Hotel is located on the Panoramaweg Altmühltal with a lot of hikers and bicycle stop over guests for mainly one night - and you can feel it. Service people have been very nice and helpful, at check in and out, at dinner and at breakfast - wonderful people try to cover the reality. Its an old used and not very nice Hotel, really need renovation. My room was under the roof and the mosquito net was broken, so I had a bad night sleeping with a lot of wake up and mosquito bites. Showers was cold and wrong attached, really old as all in my room. Best really way dinner at the restaurant and breakfast specially by the great help of the employees. One night maybe if there is no option otherwise pass on and take the next until they did some renovation.

Basic, for one night hiking stop only

Internet prices (pizza, noodles) and restaurant prices do not match.The waiter denies this, the cashier says the correct price.Internet 7.00 Euro Restaurant price 9.50 Euro) The pizza was rich but only limited fresh.

Price adjustment

The menu outside the restaurant doesn't match the offer in the restaurant. Portions are small and overpriced. The salad comes out as 1 leaf of salad, 2 cucumber slices and a piece of tomato, all without dressing. The tablecloth is dirty, the flowers are dried up. The waiter dries everyone.

Restaurant not recommended

Stayed her during business trip. Very friendy and helpfull staff and good service. Good breakfast, all rooms very clean.

Value for money hotel, good breakfast

The restaurant was cold, the owner, who by the way refused to start the heating. A lapidary came: Then sit by the oven! The waiter was also a little frightened and said only: Fritz forbid me to start the heating! The rooms were managed, except for the renovated rooms in the new tract. A glimpse of the breakfast is for staff) and in a way, the air. That the whole thing is going this way and it seems to be financially still to be expected is due to the mass production by Reisenell guests who visit the inn every year from April onwards. The feeding of these guests, however, can only be done with a small amount of lax carpentry at the entrance to the hotel.

Cheap, not cheap or inexpensive

I stayed for three nights in this hotel. Very spacious and clean rooms, a little old-fashioned, but with what was needed and also a nice balcony. Very varied and plentiful breakfast, you pay five euros apart. I think it's ideal for tourists who want to go out for excursions around, the landscape is very beautiful and immersed in green.

Working hours

Service is underground. The staff leaves the door open even though you want to walk three steps behind it. I'm also more busy smoking than with the tasks of a service. An order, if it's taken, can be forgotten. So you have to be patient. The food we've booked for half a bath was not a pleasure. The Gnochi from the 2nd shower was so completely choked and so sharp that the tomato sauce was inedible.

Never, never again

Our room was furnished with furniture that probably came from the garbage.They were scratched, the delivery bed was fitted with spax.The carpet floor was completely crushed, covered with fire stains and just awful!The lamp umbrellas were torn or with holes and dangling down. The balcony (though with a nice view of nature) was furnished with ugly chairs and a damaged table.It was not easy to stay in this room. The crown was the bathroom: a lot of wide circles slit the tiles, mold in the shower, and almost everyone was very happy, so many extra pieces of the room were missing.
