A small hotel, just outside (5 min. with car) Stralsund town.
Old(ish) interior, looks like it's from 60's-70's.
You really need car for everything... 
Even though english isn't their favourite language, the staff is really friendly and helpful.

Rooms: 
+ Spacious rooms with plenty of storage. 
+ Good and clean bathroom. 
- Beds: The mattrasses should have been replaced ages ago!
- TV: 99,99% German, no international channels! (BBC Economy New only English one...)

Restaurant/Bar/Food:
+ Excellent/great tasting food! 
+ OK (cold) breakfast. 
+ Beveradges (beer, wine, ...) are available at OK prices. 

Overall opinion:
OK/good choice for the price.

Good hotel but You need car for everything

For our short trip to the Baltic Sea on the weekend of Pentecost, we found this small hotel in front of the gates of Stralsund. It is a very quiet, family-run hotel, with clean rooms and a very good price/performance ratio. The breakfast is very nicely prepared and more than sufficient. Very tasty dinner, the spicy dishes should not be missed, especially since the owner is also world champion in spicy dishes.;-) The hotel is very conveniently located, the centre of Stralsund is fast and completely easy to reach.

Very nice hotel outside the gates of Stralsunds

Because of a weekend stay, we searched for a cheap but good hotel. Our internet search led us to the Hotel Appleflower. From this location, although it is not the city center, but you can drive to the city center in 10 minutes. The hotel's facilities are standard, the staff is very helpful and friendly. We had booked breakfast including breakfast, and were very satisfied with the breakfast. The location on the outskirts of the city in the business area should not scare you, it is a very convenient location, about 300 meters from the main road. We will book this hotel again on our next street trip.

Day trip to Stralsund

The Hotel Appelblüte is located about 5 km outside Stralsund in a commercial area. It is actually just opposite a steel shop and a construction market about 200 m away. The hotel is quietly located, the rooms are quite large, very clean and functionally furnished. The restaurant is really good, the price/performance ratio is very good. There is also a cozy terrace/beer garden. The staff is friendly and attentive. All in all I can recommend the hotel.

A good starting point for stralsund visits

The bathroom is a little too narrow and you can smell the sewer, and there's nothing missing, and if you change your pillows you'll sleep much better, and if you arrive late at night you won't have anything to eat.

Very quiet.

It is a quiet, very friendly hotel with good room facilities and a good price/performance ratio near Stralsund (sufficiently close to the already tired cyclist).
