I've been very welcomed, too. I've been very comfortable here all the time, I've gotten valuable insights into the surroundings. A well-arranged room, only the slopes over the bed are a little too big for my size. But I booked late and got the last room. Parking in front of the side entrance is ideal for me. Rich breakfast, good coffee. Environmental consideration visible everywhere.

Family professionalism

The service, the cleanliness of the place and the place are worth a good grade. But Mama's food is worth this grade 5. The dish she makes is to fill her stomach and heart! Congratulations and success wishes to them! The place is special.

Ideal for cyclists too!

We were both there to eat. We were first allowed to wait outside the terrace (there were plenty of seats there) before the host assigned us a table. Then we were asked if we were monastery sleepers. Obviously he was having a fight with the monastery in the upper market valley, where many cyclists stay in a more secure environment than in its simple and functional building. Then we could order, then we could listen to his tires. Afterwards we should have gone. Afterwards he is with two other guests who did not stay with him, just likewise splashed tips. Great host, food in the industrial area

Very good food, good breakfast buffet, good beds, good shower, staff friendly, quiet location, rooms with a jet network, bicycle garage. There's nothing I could risk. The price is 88 euros for the double room with breakfast (September 2019).

I'm all right.

In the upper market valley, you can eat goose from November until just before the wine tasting. From 6 people onwards, you get a complete goose. It is best to make an appointment for dinner and stay overnight in the nice guest rooms. The goose is exclusively from your own breeding and is prepared super deliciously. We will surely be there again in 2018.

Highly flavored goose food

The hotel is right off the Danube bike trail with secure bike storage and free outside lockers for Ebike battery charging . The rooms were really clean and upgraded . Comfortable bed and small but very nice bathroom . Husband and wife owned and along with son managed . A bit out of town but the on-site restaurant is super . The special the night we stayed there was baked chicken breast from their own farm raised chicken . The crowning glory was the homemade, the wife does a majority of the cooking , cherry cheesecake. It was amazing. So good that we purchased a piece the next morning to take with us on our bicycles for a snack break later on . The first time we have done that in 23 years of European bicycling. Wish I could have gotten the recipe !

Great family run hotel with amazing desserts

Hotel with 2 star facilities served by unfriendly staff. Minimum and bad breakfast. Located in an industrial area. Very noisy due to the continuous traffic of cars and trucks on a busy highway that must be crossed on foot to reach the small village and convent. A danger.

 Disappointing.

In the circle of more workers, not for the first time, the mountain bench was chosen for this year's Christmas party because of the usual good cuisine and goose food. Goose food was very delicious, as were the dishes ordered à la carte. These would have only been served a little warmer. Around 9.50 p.m. there was nothing left to drink, with the host's remark: In ten minutes. We left the place and will not come again in the unfriendly manner. The host is confronted with this circumstance: Then you will go somewhere else.

Unfriendly Host, Good Food

Dur has friends we were noticed on the mountain chair and we booked rooms right away and the one table for 6 people. (from there there there is a whole goose).

Top of delicious goose

A little outside the town of Obermarchtal, in a very quiet location. In front of the hotel is a beautiful, large courtyard, used as a beer garden, perfect in the summer to comfortably enjoy an ice cream or a beer. There you can watch young cats or chickens lay delicious breakfast eggs for the hotel guests. The reception by the hotel owner himself was very friendly, just as it went on - from the landlady to the restaurant service were all very nice and friendly.
