lovely riverside location matched by facilites and greta staff, i dont think thety get many english visitors, but not a probelm, rooms immaculate and well appointed this is a nice hotel with good food and drink, great breakfast, would recommend for cyclist touring or anyone stying in the area, wittenberg a easy bike ride away as are the lovely gardens at worlitz, no hesitantion in recommending 

lovely hotel and location 

The dining room in the evening can be forgotten. Even for the hotel guests is closed from 9 p.m. onwards - no more accommodation. You can't even sit in the lobby - everything is closed. An unsightly and totally chilled winter garden is offered. This is not a service. Lack of staff is certainly a problem - but then you should look for a stay solution.

No food at night

We would have liked to have stayed longer and come back!:) Beautifully idyllic and with a great ambiance. Delicious breakfast and clean rooms. At night you can only hear the barbecues and the Elves and see incredibly many stars. During the day you can hang out on the great terrace eating and drinking or in the couch. Our room had a balcony and Elbblick, it felt like we were in Louisiana or Georgia with river and flow. Did we feel very comfortable?

Idyllic and very relaxing

We've already spent a few days here for the second time. Since all the hotel rooms were booked, we were booked in the old ferry house. This was a good decision in our view. You're self-sufficient, have a small cottage for yourself. Everything you need is there, you can see Elbe and Ferry. Breakfast is not included, but you can book it. Or you can order a few loaves at the restaurant and have breakfast in peace on your own terrace. If you want, you can also drive to Wörlitz to the bakery (about 5km). We made the occasional meal and can recommend the Donck bakery. In the afternoon or evening, we had the opportunity to serve the restaurant. We were satisfied with the food and were also very free to serve.

Nice stay at the Ferry House

We celebrated our wedding here and booked the whole hotel! It all went smoothly and was beautiful: food, drinks, service, rooms, views of the Elbe! You can only have a nice stay here!!

It was a dream!

We were spontaneously with our children for lunch at the Elbterrassen restaurant in splendid weather. The service was very friendly and our food was excellent. Price/performance is very good. We had a great seat on the terrace with a wonderful view of Elbe and ferry. There were some bikers and cyclists there. A great restaurant for a relaxed meal. We will be back soon.

Relief from Eating

The location right by the Elbe is really great. The new tenants have further beautified the house and the rooms. Even without a spa or pool you can really relax here. The food at the restaurant is fine. But there's definitely still air up there.

Nice hotel in great location with nice hosts

We spent four nights in a room with no balcony to the forest. The room and bathroom were very spacious. We didn't miss the balcony, as you could sit on the terrace or in the couches at the Elbe at any time. The peace there is wonderful and the situation is very slowing down. There is a lot to see nearby (garden, cultural cities...). The location right by the ferry and Elberad is perfect. The host is extremely nice and effortful. We had breakfast and dinner: everything to recommend. There is nothing to recommend. There is nothing to be said. Whoever does not slow down is guilty. But the family can resist the water. But the journey here. We do not find urpstones, rather, too bad. But we should have a remarkable evening's rest. But thanks for the curfew.

Acceleration pure

Arrival at 12:30 for lunch at the restaurant. Greeting relatively reserved and dimmed. Restaurant reminds of a waiting room from the 80s of a provincial train station. Unfortunately, there is no love of detail. At the dinner reception at the first plate (forelle smoked) is out. 2 selection unfortunately also out. And that at 12:30 where not even the lunch shop has been run. Unfortunately no alternative got you the feeling of being a paying guest. Due to not being in front of the main halls, I asked if there were any cakes already available. Unfortunately, yes, there was a passionate cake.

Poor service

We enjoyed the Elbterrasse Wörlitzer's Corner - comfortable hours and a pleasant treat.
