We were here during our bike tour along the Ems Road as guests. The bikes could be safely parked in a bicycle garage. The rooms were clean but quite small and showed some areas needing renovation. In the shower there was only a curtain that didn't reach the floor, so unfortunately the entire bathroom was flooded during the shower. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is very easily accessible from the Ems Road. It would be nice if the hotel could describe the ones on the website, the Navi led us through busy roads unfortunately.

Nice location, great breakfast, bicycle garage

The room smelled like a wet dog when you entered. Many dark hairs on the beds. The pillow came down. Pillow and bed covers had holes. There was mold in the bathroom. All the surfaces were smelly. Unfortunately, everything was very rusty and laid down.

Shaped and experienced

I was here for one night, alone in the yard, scary, but there was no buffet in the morning, and the worst part was that the heater wasn't working at 7 degrees, the room was very small and simple, the ventilation in the bathroom is good, but it doesn't go out when the light is on.

Standard room with leakage of water to the shower that's common to the restrooms, making the bathroom a real flood, refusing us breakfast despite a pre-booking on the internet.

I was here for one night, alone on the premises, scary, but there was no buffet in the morning.

Ample parking on arrival and throughout stay. I had single accommodation. Its basic but has nearly all you need. It does not have a kettle. Shower toilet sink bed tv very small fridge chair. Free WiFi.  Breakfast was normal continental style. It cost 10 Euro by taxi to Rheine. 

In the countryside for walking /cycling.

In the beautiful area, this place is more of a hostel than a hotel. The room is basic, but clean with everything there. When arriving an employee was paintspraying the outside and the room stank terribly. The reception did not know what to or was bluntly not interested. On Sundays and holidays the room is not attended to.

Modest place

The rooms are arranged over two floors in a guest house with a revolving curb on the first floor. This is unusual and if you enter it very nicely. You can open the door and expand the room outdoors. This is very good, especially in heat. The equipment is simple, the bathroom is very narrow. The price is also affordable. Bicycles are accommodated in a closed room. For one night on our bike tour, a welcome departure from the other hotel standard. The hotel is located a little outdoors. However, there is a beautiful path along the railway line and the Ems, so that you can get to the city very quickly by bike.

Affordable and easy accommodation

Stayed at this hotel for a night. 10 minutes in a taxi and you are in the centre of the city.
The rooms were clean but very small and for sure not luxury.
Breakfast ok but not more. Not recommended for longer stay or if you plan to stay in your room for more than sleeping.

Not in the centre but nice and clean rooms

Hello, we were here with a few colleagues because we work in the Rhine but live outside (100km). The day we did this we had a business party. The room is relatively small but it has everything you need, shower, toilet, bed! Unfortunately it will be very noisy when guests get up in the morning, because it is a wooden house that has no sound protection on the hallways. So you hear every step of the neighbors. But all in all a good and above all a cheap alternative to nearby in the Rhine!
