We couldn't get a double room, only a so-called family room. Since it cost over 200 euros a night, we expected a nice room. Unfortunately, it was neither beautiful nor spacious. Overall, the price-performance ratio is not at all right.

An expensive 'pleasure' in Rostock

The hotel is far too expensive for the equipment, it is all old and in need of renovation.. The carpet in the room is old, and disgustingly stained. It is very bright in the hotel (old wooden stairs) thin walls, the main street is right in front of the hotel. Breakfast (10 €) has to be paid extra and the parking space (9 €) too, so that every night again we need 19 € extra. We will never stay there again!

I can't get rid of the feeling that booking.com customers get the worst room here! We arrived before 8:00 in the evening. The reception is no longer occupied. Keys in a wall box with code. (Good idea). Then that room! Day blanket on the beds with small crocheted hair. Also the mattress cover is muddy. Dust bins on the walls and the ceiling (also in the breakfast room!) Clean is something else M. M. At least the bedding and towels were clean 👍🏻.. whoever doesn't mind getting a room able in Rostock can't get any better. We're not coming here!

Not again.

The reception was good, parking space for only 3€ at the house was also great! Our DZ..... 1st door open, small wardrobe, seating area 2. On the right - room with staircase, in which is a double bed with a mini TV on the wall 3. On the left - bathroom with a view to the water After going back and forth we asked for another room with room for the price of 139€.......... This we got without murmuring, but with the remark that we have a nice view of the water in the advertised room....... Yesaaa......should we spend the whole day in the bathroom??????? We naturally also wondered why we were immediately addressed to the large hallways, whether these old hallways had been used in the first half hour, which we were complaining about.

Thank goodness for passing through

A hotel in front of the marina, in an old mansion. The lady, Karen, lives on the top floor. It's a very nice, tasty hotel, like we're home. I highly recommend, because of the location, you can walk to the historic center; for the accommodations, for the breakfast, for the staff, very nice. The apartment we stayed in three people, it was on the ground floor, huge, with a closet, a large bathroom, even a small room with a table in the apartment. I loved it.

We stayed at the top floor (room 7) and it was pleasant enough. However, a few things would certainly need fixing. Internet up in the room is non excistant. We talked to the manager and according to her it's supposed to work, but the network wouldn't show under wifi, much less were we able to connect to it.
The smell in the room was anything thing that wasn't so pleasant; wet dog comes to mind. The roof is very low, so if you are above 165 cm you will hit your head (we did, multiple times).

Decent, but leaves a little to wish for

As a family, we were in this hotel in April 2017 for 4 days with another vendor, and we can only warn ourselves. When we arrived, we got a room where it was molded and we found meat on the window board that was stale. After a discussion with the housewife, we were given another room. The next morning, at breakfast, we noticed that the uncooled food was on the buffet from 7.30 to 10.00, so on Sunday morning we discovered that the milk and coffee beans were spoiled. Our oldest son went after the meal of the table.

Never again!!!

I really enjoyed our stay. It was nice to be within easy distance to the center. Clean room and  lovely location in a residential neighborhood with great pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast for a small hotel like this. The rooms with windows to the main road should probably be avoided because of the heavy traffic, but we were told that the soundproof windows would guarantee a good night's sleep. Parking space is available. All in all, a good-value hotel for a short stay.

The house as such is beautiful, the location overlooking the harbour and good distances to the city centre gives a lot. The breakfast is quite varied for the size of the buffet, although a cappuccino request was grilled with Give us coffee. Unfortunately, the building standard (sound protection against heavy traffic on the main road, refurbishment quality, ongoing maintenance) does not match the potential of the house. The management is very yield-oriented, without this being underestimated in appropriate quality or in terms of detail or especially lovable care. In the bathroom next to the soft black beds of the caregivers, especially the lack of negative protection, the window towels, the hand towels were not properly cleaned, the rooms had to be cleaned, the defect was not as easy as those two years ago.

Much untapped potential

Since we had to arrive after 8pm, we had to call for the access code. The evening facility is not guarded. You enter with your own received key by typing in the code.
