Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights while attending an event in the area. Upon arrival at the hotel received a friendly welcome. The hotel is located near a lake, in a very pleasant and quiet area. Rooms were simple but comfortable and clean. Overall had a good stay!

Friendly welcome !

Very idyllic hotel with great sea view from my room too. The service agreed that breakfast could be taken either in the breakfast room or outside on the terrace. The hostess had an open ear for my wishes. The furniture in my room was antiquated, but now it didn't bother me so much. Whoever appreciates peace and quietness, the hotel is recommended.

Great stay, I'd like to come back.

Friendly staff, idyllic location, solid, attractive house. Room furnishings outdated, furniture from the '90s. Dirty rug, old, crunchy bed for 89 euros without breakfast or more expensive. At least in the main house we found the furnishings like this. Restaurant in a cozy, uncluttered wood-sharing room. Good, civic kitchen with normal taste, small, somewhat boring menu, too expensive and really nothing special. A lot of air up. Can't recommend it for the price.

The price/performance ratio is not true!!

After a great concert at the Choir Monastery, we drove here with friends. Beautiful from the outside, great view of the lake with bathtub. The outdoor dining was reserved for hotel guests. Inside it was very cozy and we also found a place. Our friends were guests once and were very satisfied with the food. We ordered and then our friends wanted to talk to the boss because they wanted to celebrate their golden wedding in a big way next year. She now has no time, she would have to take care of the guests, make an appointment by phone, so it didn't work. If you wanted to go to the doctor, you would eventually need an appointment. How can you eat so quickly. We should have done it, but the wedding will be celebrated with about 100 people.

The location with direct views of the Chorin Sea alone invites you to stay on the beautiful terrace of the restaurant or to check into the loving and family-run hotel.

A real enrichment of the chorine gastronomy and hospitality industry

We like to pay good money for good food, but here the price-performance ratio is not at all right, for what is offered, the prices are a crap. The two different foods were very clear on the plate and were served warm, the meat was hard and the sauces too few, these were still dull and taste neutral, only the salad was okay. The food choice is limited, we're not going there anymore.

At the restaurant, that was nothing!

It's almost two years ago and we still want to give a very positive review. We celebrated our wedding with about 70 guests at the Lake Forest Hotel and the organization, staff, food and the room were perfect. The room is ideal for weddings and you can walk out easily. Thank you very much for our beautiful wedding!

A Successful Wedding at the Lake Forest Hotel

I had ordered a room on the website in January, confirmed it all again by phone. Then we left on May 26, 2018, our silver wedding day, and there was no room left. A half-hearted attempt by the staff to move us to another hotel, of course, failed. But the worst thing, no word of apology, no word of regret. This kind of borne arrogance has not been experienced in 40 years of traveling to all kinds of hotels in the country and abroad.
