There were no staff on site when I arrived. I had to call them only to be told to wait twenty minutes for them to drive over to let me in. I wasn't early or anything either. The room was okay, very noisy outside though as it is in the town centre. 

Location was really great though. Directly next door to the central bus station to take you anywhere you want to go. It was quite a long walk to any restaurant though.

Great location. Average room 

As soon as you step through the door, a powerful stench of cat piss greets you. The entire place is filthy (a picture is worth a thousand words, so see attached photos): the cooking plates, microwaves, etc. look like they haven't been cleaned in ages. This abysmal backpacker accommodations next to the bus station in Argostoli, and on the main road, so there's never peace and quiet. Notice the bus schedule posted is from last year, and way out of date. It's only another indication of how neglected this place is. The staff is absent most of the time, and unpleasant for the rest. This simply must be the worst place to stay in Argostoli!

Filthy, stinky accommodation

Andreas is a top guy: friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble for him and he helped us move across town from one of his properties to the next. Cannot recommend highly enough. Both properties are in a great location for all of Argostoli’s amenities

Lovely family business

Hotel in good position near bars and restaurants. Parking facility near the facility. Quite spacious room with sea view. Comfortable bed but the bad news is the bathroom: small, shower without support but above all toilet framed between shower and wall. Cost x night 80€... exaggerated!

Unjustified price ratio

This is a tiny room 10 x 10 facing the main street and steps from the marina and the bus station. Came with a fridge and all the amenities but with an awkward hand-held shower? Andre and I had a disagreement about pricing – summer vs rest of the year but he came to the fore when he pointed out the attractions and even led me to my next hotel stay. (He was full) 4* became 5* - Thank you.

Great apartment in the center of Argostoli, close to bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The towel change and the cleaning of the room is a day yes a day no. The room is spacious, mine had sea view with a small terrace. The parking can be easily found in front of the structure. Super recommended 👌

Great accommodation.

Nice mini-hotel with helpful hosts. Room is not big, but everything you need are here. Good mattress, comfortable bed. Location is perfect if you need a bus station. Hospital is about 5 minutes by foot. Good Posto cafe right at the corner.

Really hostesses 

We stayed at Sisiotisa for one night as we wanted to explore Argostoli without having to drive back to our base in Lourdas late at night.  The accommodation was very clean, we had a room with a double bed, bathroom with shower and a balcony looking down to the sea.  The major issue was the continual noise by Staff, we decided late afternoon to go back to our room for a rest before heading out for the evening, all we could hear was continual conversation in loud voices and laughter non stop from staff sitting in the communal seating area as you enter the premises.  On returning to our room after 11pm the same again, loud voices, shouting, laughter and then to top it all continual door banging when everyone decided to head off at 1.30am the next morning.  Absolutely no sleep quality and no thought for the paying guests in the building.  This was staff noise not other guests, shocking!  Don't stay here if you want a good nights sleep

Stay away due to the staff noise, very disappointing

The rooms have a view and are conveniently situated near the bus station and away from the loud touristy center. The attendant was pleasant.

The room, however, was awful. It just felt old and poorly managed. The beds, small twins with old sheets and awful pillows, were the least of my worries. The bedside lamps didn’t work and the overhead light just highlighted the dinginess of the room. The outlet next to the bed was completely off and I was worried of weird electrical issues, though none were had. The walls were oddly painted (and decal’d) like an afterthought of a little girl gone mad. And that paint was sporadic, old, and coming off. The bathroom seemed kinda redone but at a discount. The kind where there might not be a permit as the water heater is oddly placed, leaking, discolored, and possibly rusted. The A/C felt like it attacked with spores. 

There’s what seems to be a closet that was converted to a place where one can cook, if they dare. 

If the management put some effort like new paint, fixing lights, and other basic maintenance, the place might be half worth the price that was charged.



Really lacking in TLC and basics

For those of you who have already visited Cephalonia with your rental car and want to relax by leaving your license at home, the Sisiotisa is a perfect support point. Essential, only room and bathroom, shared kitchen but with keyed dishes, each room has its own set. Towels change one day yes and one no, but for any need just ask the owner Andreas who is really nice and caring. If you can give the rooms they make on the square, there is a terrace with chairs to enjoy Argostoli at sunset.
