Although the structure is dated, as studios is very clean, you can smell the detergent in the hallways. The staff cleans the rooms every day while the change of sheets and towels is every 3 days, there is also a common kitchen. We were welcomed immediately and warmly by Natalie, I believe she is the receptionist, who, after accompanying us to the room, gave us detailed instructions and advice on what to see in Cefalonia. The studio is located in a good spot of Argostoli, towards the end of the promenade, a few minutes walk from the center.

Central, quiet, clean

Marouso, the owner, along with her daughter Katerina and husband Andreas, will welcome you with a smile and will always be available for any request and questions about beaches, restaurants, etc., much better than tourist information!!!! Perfect location, outside the crowded streets of downtown but only a few minutes from them, sea view and right in front of one of the best restaurants to eat the dishes of the traditional island cuisine.

Perfect location, super owner.

So, the address is exactly the same but I booked Kroussos rooms, maybe the name changed. I loved the location and the view from the balcony, where we could watch people getting off from Cruise ships and beautiful yachts. It's aroun 10 minutes by feet from city center but the good thing about that is the facility for parking in front of the hotel (even in August). The rooms was super clean and they used to clean every day. The bathroom was ok but they could provide shower stall on glass instead of plastic. Natalie, the owner, is super nice and kind, and she helped me on early checkin and also printing my flight ticket (Kefalonia airport doesn't accept mobile ticket). So, I super recommend this hotel.

Kroussos Rooms - amazing location

I booked two nights in Marina rooms and I find it very enjoyable. From the very beginning the management of the reserve has been very simple and quick. The place is close to the center but separate enough so that it is not noisy. The room is very clean and with fabulous views of the harbor. Makis, the owner, has always helped me and advised me to move around the island. He has given me very good advice. This year I have to return to Kefalonia and I will definitely repeat in Marina rooms. If you notice that Makis and his wife put all their heart into their work, I wish them all the best.

A pleasant stay.

We stayed in August holiday among friends located in a central area cozy rooms with air conditioned terrace refrigerator structure surrounded by green quiet place common guest kitchen equipped with an immense garden where you can organize great brunch the owner welcomed us with a great lemonade prepared at the moment with lemons from her garden change laundry every 3 days cleaning every day and when we left she also made us a tribute to local products

It has a remarkable price ratio, close to the centre (600 meters of pleasant promenade on the waterfront), easy parking, daily cleaning, the owner available for every need, gave us several bottles of wine.

Like at home.

We stayed for two days and what to say we stayed open-mouthed.. the owner, Marina, is  of a kindness and hospitality never seen before! Kind and caring for anything she is  ready to help you, hosting you in her house and offering you anything. She lends herself for your every need. We felt right at home, on our arrival we found in the fridge a bottle of wine and a bottle of water and also on our departure she gave us a pack of sweets as a token of gratitude for staying with her. Wonderful!! Also the room  apart from being very clean is served with every comfort, it is located right in the center near all the shops and restaurants. In short, we are fully done and we should definitely return to Marina rooms if we are satisfied!

In all these years of travel I have never received such a welcome and treatment. It seemed like I was being hosted by a dear relative rather than having booked a room. A room with sea view as I kindly requested, lemonade in the room, a bottle of water in the fridge, a bottle of wine as a gift and finally even a courtesy sweet attention. All accompanied by a simple but carefully detailed room. The phon had just been bought, daily clean towels, unused but clearly equipped kitchen.

Hospitality doesn't need stars

After we got back together and settled down, we took the rented car out, got on the ferry, and went down to a small village where we could get there by car on the street, but we were very tired, so we preferred to take the ferry and had a lot of fun.

It's a really nice place.

Our first time in Argostoli and we loved every minute of it.
It was part of my birthday present and Vrisiida, the owner, gave us a very warm welcome with a lovely birthday card and some Cephalonian wine - many thanks Vrisiida (hope I spelt it ok).
The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. 
The location is a nice 10-15 minute stroll along the sea front to the centre. Ideally located very close to the ferry to Lixouri. Some very nice tavernas close by including Palia Plaka which our room overlooked.
From Marina you can walk the Fanari way round to Lassi - maybe 1 hour, go the main road way 40 minutes or just catch a bus or even a taxi for 5 euro.
We really enjoyed our stay and are hoping to return next year.  Thanks for a lovely stay Ian and Sheila
