It's an old building, a bathroom that goes into every shower, and the photos on the sites date back several years, but they're not true.

Holidays in the rough

In this September we're going around without booking and almost by chance we climb down from the coastal road of Kissamos, before the harbor, towards these white houses arranged on the slopes of the hill. There's room and we decide to stop for 4 nights. Like in American motels we park the car in front of the cabin, very convenient to move our luggage. Small porch, convenient to play cards in the evening and, in case, to smoke outdoors. First spacious room with kitchen. Not a big room with a demanding experience on the bed that luckily won't work since mosquitoes aren't there. In the bathroom there's the closet and equipped with safety nets. The bathroom is soft enough but the shower is equipped with t-shirts for the next floor. In the afternoon we'd have a nice swimming pool, where we'd need to get back to the bathroom.

A very nice, cozy bungalow. A nice, quiet place and a really classy pool. We felt very comfortable here. The hosts were very kind and very warm. It was an absolute paradise there. A nice, quiet place with nice taverns and nice little shops. We're back.

I spent two nights with my family, the house was very nice, clean and cozy, comfortable beds, I appreciated the patio with so much greenery all around, a pity the location on a busy street, the very kind owner.

A very friendly welcome from Michalis and his wife, we stayed for two nights in a rather quiet place immersed in nature.

My family and I had an unpleasant experience in this building where we escaped because it was not possible to stay. The bathroom was full of hair and did not match what was shown in the iconographic material available, the refrigerator was full of rust and unusable so we paid what was required and we left because it would not be possible to stay.

Very rude owners, be careful where you settle!!!

We really liked the photo of the hotel: simple village style, but spacious, light and cozy. Actually, it wasn't like that. First the owner offered us a bungalow with an unrepaired sanctuary. In the photo there was no such thing. In the photo was a renovated, modern s/u. They asked for another bungalow, they gave it as in the photo. But!!! And in both bungalows there was an unpleasant smell, like in very old houses, where there is a lot of old furniture. The smell of obscurities and very old things. My husband's allergy to mold and dust tiles he is a squirrel, just like he lives in old houses, he thinks.

Oh, very modest.

Outside of the town of Kissamos Vista del mar offers spacious apartments in nice garden with beautiful pool area. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Nice fish taverne is nearby. A car is recommended!

Pleasant stay near the old port of Kissamos

Michalis and Julia are two exceptional landlords. We had a wonderful vacation in Vista del Mar. The attention to the client was maximum. And they were always available for any need. Every advice given to us on the roads to follow, places to eat or places to visit was decisive. We had an apartment suitable for 4 people (2 adults and two children aged 10 and 12) with a porch for breakfast with breathtaking views over the bay. We found everything new and well kept, the bathroom was large and spacious with a very comfortable shower. The cleaning was accurate and better every day, when we returned from the sea the house was perfectly clean. The swimming pool with water and beautiful views over the mountains has also allowed us to relax and relax after a day and the children have been used in the most strategic location.
