Hotel located in a quiet position 15 minutes from the city center and the port from which ferries depart for the islands. Clean hotel, large room, mainly frequented by Greeks. Garden front hotel nice and well maintained. Gentle staff but not always present but to those like us who came back in the evening no problem. Breakfast untested. Unique sin shower, full of limestone and in our case route in some points. For the rest ok.

Good hotel

This hotel is only 220 meters from the beach and offers a great breakfast. Our room had good air conditioning, a refrigerator, a TV and a proper double bed (not 2 twin beds pushed together). I would stay there again and recommend contacting the property directly for the best rates.

Great Value

We chose for the hotel to collect us from the airport and we were glad we did, as our flight had been delayed by an hour and a half and it was almost midnight when we landed. Hotel was in a quiet part of town, but close enough to walk to the main area's.  Our room was comfortable and breakfast was included.  There was no choice of breakfast, but what they provided was adequate for our needs and better than expected.

Great budget hotel

Great start. They provided a private airport pickup at less than the cost of a taxi. The hotel is in a quiet part of town but still very close to everything. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was more than we expected. They even gave us free coffee while we were waiting for our departure.

Quiet Location in a Busy Town

We spent 2 nights at the Hotel Americana at the end of July returning from other islands. Very comfortable location, quiet area but close to the harbour and the centre. We were picked up from the harbour for free at 1.30am, excellent breakfast and very kind and available staff. The possibility of using the hotel's equipped bikes to go around and reach beaches outside the city at a cost of 5 euros a day....since we knew that they were only paid when we returned them. Spacious and clean room.....The only downside was: our room was on the upstairs floor with a balcony on the street and so we didn't have the option of staying in a room with the window open.

Ideal hotel for those who want to stay in Kos city.

Excellent location, excellent staff, recommended comfortable rooms, good cleanliness, availability of all staff Georges and his brother very good very close to the centre and the attractions, very nice balcony and garden

RECOGNISED

We stayed in this hotel some years ago and loved it because of the warm personality of the owner Chris and Ria who ran the hotel with her. Chris has retired and the hotel is now run by George. It is quieter than before but George is running it well. Our room was lovely and bathroom good. George serves breakfast himself and it is very good.

Comfortable

Small and cozy hotel. Clean and perfectly positioned, out of the chaos of downtown, which can be reached in ten minutes on foot. Breakfast is varied and satisfactory. Wi-Fi signal is absolutely good, both in the room and outside. The owner is an exquisite person, seemingly willing to satisfy every wish of the customer: a true friend

His strength point is that we didn't find the usual night squats of young people so frequent in Kos Town being a little bit more secluded and maybe a little bit more expensive. The rooms are clean and pleasant, but when we arrived we were told that the air conditioning was paid for while in the reservation it was free. The breakfast nothing special, the extra espresso coffee, the normal one really overstretched with water. Wi-fi efficient even though for a few hours it skipped. Nice and available staff. Maybe a little expensive for kos standards, but at least this time we weren't woken up by screaming at night.

Don 't worry, Kos town is not small.

We were guests at the American Hotel for a week during the month of July. The hotel is really nice, well-maintained. The rooms are really nice and clean. The owner and staff of the hotel are very kind. The breakfast buffet in the morning is rich and varied and allows you to get full of energy for the day. Located in a quiet area of Kos town allows you to really enjoy the tranquility of the place.
