Palm Beach Hotel - Adults only

Lovely small friendly hotel, staff were amazing reception went above and beyond to help us out.  Norma in the restaurant was a ray of sunshine and so friendly with everyone.  Graziella in the bar was lovely, always a friendly smile and chat.  Hotel was clean and well kept, this was our second visit to the hotel and we will be back.
Rooms were clean and well kept, grounds were well maintained and looked after, pool area was great, sunbeds could use some updating they were not the best but overall we had a lovely time. 

Palm beach hotel - hidden gem 

We stayed here for 1 week at the beginning of October 2023. Do not be put off by any bad reviews, unless you are expecting a 5 star hotel. The rooms were clean, we had a massive king size bed (NOT 2 singles pushed together as what usually happens). There is a flatscreen TV on the wall and excellent free unlimited  Wi-Fi if you want to bring a fire stick etc. We had a ground floor room with seats outside, but unfortunately this area got no sun at all. 

Breakfast is served 7am - 10am. Dinner 7pm - 9pm. Drinks are included with breakfast but not with dinner. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinners, nothing to complain about. The restaurant staff are very friendly and welcoming. 

The pool is great and gets sun all day, although the sun loungers are old and not very comfy.  

The hotel has entertainment on most nights, however after being charged €7.50 for a can of cider on the first night, we decided to go to the bars in Kos Town instead. Some of the bars in Kos Town have large beers for as little as €2. 

The hotel is a 15 - 20 minute walk from Kos Town, however it is an enjoyable walk right along the waterfront. 

The beaches in Kos Town are ok, but we’d recommend hiring a car / scooter / quad to visit some of the other great beaches and sites around the island. 

Good hotel

Fantastic value for money hotel, good size room with a very comfortable bed and well serviced by the domestic staff, regularly changed bedding and towels. The pool and bar area is well maintained provides both a relaxed atmosphere during the day and entertaining zibe by night. Staff extremely friendly.  Breakfast and dinner were good.
Good location next to the beach and a short walk away from Kos town.
Would recommend to all. 

Lovely relaxing week 

The hotel itself is really nice and modern, the rooms are clean and has an amazing pool that gets the sun all day. Reception and staff are all really helpful, and hotel is only about 25 min walk to Kos Town. Was skeptical on the bad reviews on the food but have to agree with everyone that it is awful, would recommend eating out and not booking breakfast or half board it is not worth it. Had only a few options and the options they had were not appetising at all. Other than the food it's a great hotel and would definitely return in the future.

Perfect hotel other than the food

Staff friendly & helpful. Room was clean But could see where the bathroom door had been filled in due to being punched by previous guests. Food was below  mediocre & catered for the masses rather than quality . It was obvious that at one time, the hotel was quite a classy place to stay. But with the “adults only” classification. It appeals to groups more than couples. Location is near the beach, & the term “holiday” is subjective. So it depends what scene you are looking for really.

Not a true Greek experience 

This hotel is advertised as a 2 restaurant hotel , 1 buffet and 1 a’ la’ carte , plus pool side snacks . Be warned there is only 1 buffet restaurant and the food is awful . We booked half board , and ended up eating out every night . We had a superior ground floor room which was ok . Upside to hotel it was near the beach , and a lovely 20 minute walk to Kos town . 

Disappointed 

16 days of pure bliss,hotel and staff amazing,rooms great, food typically Greek and more than edible.Beach across the road .Bars and food within 10 mins of hotel ,kos town 20 mins if you know the short cut😜 nothing to complain about and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Already booked for 2024 see you in September (sea view with balcony and double bed please)🙏❤️

Total relaxation

Me & my partner travelled here 12th sep for 1 week, our transfer from the airport said 1hr30min but was only 20mins which was great. We arrived at 11ish there time. Unfortunately no offer on any food or refreshments when we got there which I was pretty cheesed off about considering other people in there stay got this and we didn't. Male reception wasn't that helpful at all & didn't speak good English. We had a room on the second floor, basic room 2 single beds pushed together, tv, mini fridge, hairdryer, air con & little balcony with table & x2 chairs. Clean & modern coloured. Could of done with a touch of paint on the walls to be freshned up & bathroom could be more modern was very outdated & shower cubicle very small but everything worked & everything was clean. Cleaners came every day while we was there changed our bin & towels and every 2-3 days we was there our bedding got changed. Cleaning team friendly enough just didn't speak that much English. Pool was beautiful, larger pool & also a little mini pool that you could have a paddle in pool always clean - plenty of sun beds to choose from however most of them not comfy enough to lay on you can feel the bars through the materiel these needed cushions on top of them, unberellas on every one which all worked as they should of, bean bag area not a lot of these so if you wanted one you'd have to be quick, you'd also need to lay a towel down on these first then lay on them as they were all stained & washed out. On the rules list it stated "no reserving beds" every morning we was there everyone would go & put there towels down & reserve them so we did too. This needs to be something they change oh there notice board for sure. We was never told there was some outdoor toilets situated underneath the patio around the corner from the bar until my partner found them we was always using the toilets near reception area inside. Unless it's bottled water from a shop your not allowed to drink any other drinks around the pool unless bought at the bar unless you did it without them looking (most people did until they got caught). I was 4 months pregnant at the time of staying here so drinking alcohol was out of the picture for me but my partner was drinking there draught beer which was over 3€. Our first day My partner asked a lady behind the bar trough the day who worked if they did mocktaills she said no, day 5 when we was there a different bar staff who worked evenings told us they do do them & it was called fruit punch which was 3€. Happy hour on cocktails every evening for 2 hours 5€ a cocktail or any choice which was always super busy. Bar staff lady & gent who worked evenings always rushed off there feet & always making sure everything was tidy couldn't fault them. Downfall to this hotel MASSIVLY was unfortunate food. We paid for half hoard & I don't recommend anyone to eat there. The first morning we went for breakfast there was a good variety my partner had well cooked eggs, mushrooms, toast, spam & he said was lovely. After that they did scrambled egg which was brown, eggs which were either snotty or cold, fried onions & a meat that was always swimming looked like cat food. Always lots of salad on which always looked fresh, cheese & meat breads, fruit on a morning that looked like it had been cut up hours before service with the colour it had gone. Coffee machine where tea was also available, fruit juice machine where apple orange & a different juice was available. Clean glasses mugs plates & curterly everytime. Evening meals was bad - everything was swimming didn't look appetising at all, wasn't under any hot lamps so got cold very quick bland & looked like it was all pre - heated from the night before. A lady called Norma who worked mornings & evenings the most wonderful staff member there, she in herself makes the whole hotel worth coming too, her friendliness, how well spoken she is, how caring she was just a lovely lovely lady and very down to earth by far the best worker in the whole hotel. The hotel is situated 5/10 mins walk to x2 shops & 6 restaurants. There is a mini marina just 15 min walk the kos town is around a 50 min walk, but there is 2 local busses a number 1 & 5 which takes you to kos centre for only 2€. Taxis are also available restaurant staff & hotel staff members were kind enough to call us a couple when I was too tired to walk & they came within 10 mins not costing more than 10€ a trip. Definitely do your looking and researching on restaurants before eating a lot of places wasn't great where we eat Unfortunately. Lots & lots of boats at the big marina all doing trips, if you don't like to be dragged in to look at there boat & get a flyer shoved in your hand each and every time you walk past I would recommend walking opposite side of the road. My partner went on a fishing boat trip he said was great & the both of us went to bodrum turkey on a boat trip which was also fantastic! Lots & lots of shops restaurants you can look at within kos town itself, if your not a fan of walking they also hire out bicycles everywhere including the hotel. While we were there it was 20€ for 1 week for 1 bike on offer. Be careful walking at the wrong side of the path though these people on bikes will consistently ring there bell at you to tell you to move or know there behind you which got very annoying towards the end of the trip as the paths just aren't big enough for pedestrians & cyclists. There was also mopeds everywhere again also on paths so be careful with that. There was a couple of beaches all Beautiful salty water very very pebbly stoney beaches though! There was around 7 cats in our hotel resort that would come everyday, unfortunately i feel as a hotel they could do more for them like putting out some clean fresh water everyday for them but instead will sit & watch them drinking from the pool water which isnt good for them. Not allowed to feed them in resturant area but we bought cat food & fed them near our room. We fell in love with a ginger cat here shes lovely & absolutely loves a cuddle so if you are a cat lover please look out for her. All in all not a bad trip & not a bad hotel just has some faults that could easily be changed.

Nice hotel, does need some changes.

The rooms are dirty and the shower is unhygienic. The man at the reception is very nice, but the women are unfriendly and not trying. The food is boring, always the same and tasteless. Everything is all about English. It's very noisy no matter what time of day. You can't sleep. You can't use the toilet for days.

Everything else is better!

The hotel is close to the beach. The staff is very friendly, hospitable. The animation takes place every day, there are evening programs. The hotel is perfect for people with disabilities. The hotel is clean, cleaned every day.
