This is a small guesthouse with several bedrooms located off a shared kitchen.  The room we has was small and in need of maintenance.  The bathroom door did not close properly and the doorknob came off in our hands!  The bed was a bit soft and saggy.  The bathroom was very small with no space between toilet and sink.
With the room being off the shared kitchen, we could hear noise throughout our stay.  Since we were the only guests at the time, we assume it was the owners.
The kitchen was fully equipped, so it was nice to have access to it for self-catering.  Not absolutely necessary, though as the guest house is within a couple of blocks walk to the centre of Ancient Olympia where there are a few restaurants.  It is also within a short walk to the archeological site.
The AC/Heat worked well.
There is parking directly across the street from the guesthouse in a muddy field (it rained heavily just before we arrived).
The owner met us on site after communicating with us while we were driving from Nafplio.  The house was relatively easy to find, down a couple of small residential streets from the centre of town.
It was a convenient place for a 1-night stay when visiting the archeological site of Ancient Olympia.

Basic room with shared kitchen

This is a very cozy hotel! The room is beautiful and spacious. With the terrace overlooking the surrounding countryside. You have everything to cook: the kitchen is shared with the other travelers but what matters! It's really very convenient. You will wake up to the song of the rooster. What more spontaneous and authentic! You will be a few meters from the city center on foot. The hotel parking is free. Very good quality price ratio! Advise.

It's a nice address

Yes, it is cheap. But also a bit sad. No view, 2 minutes from the centre but it looks you are in nowhere land. The room was fine (no personality but it’s ok), the bathroom is really really small , it doesn’t feel so safe (you cannot lock the door of the apartment), big kitchen at disposal nevertheless. Good for a quick stop, as we did but in general the city of Olympia is not great, just stop for the excavation and head to the coastline.

Olympia is a busy tourist town. Mellia Rooms is a couple of blocks off the main road. Thus rather than buses and herds of people going by, you have chickens. Good night sleep until the rooster started cock a doodle doing at sunrise. Walking distance to the archaeological site and museum. Google maps does not recognize that the street Mellia Rooms is located on is blocked in the center. Thus you may find that you are at a dead end street. Just get out of the car and walk to the other side of the road and you will find the accommodation a few houses down. Or you may be lucky and access the correct side of the road the first time

Quiet Location in a Busy Tourist Town

Very nice, clean and well maintained accommodation with a lot of attention to detail. Each room is colourfully differently designed and decorated accordingly. The kitchen is well equipped and very spacious. In addition to the property there are enough parking spaces and the city center is 5 minutes' walk away. To mention positive, the guests are very friendly and helpful. They even picked us up when we arrived in Olympia. All in all, we had a wonderful stay. Very nice, clean and neat accommodation with lots of passion for detail. Every room has its own unique colour and is decorated well. They have a lot of space available. The kitchen space with lots of parking space is available and all we have got a very excellent accommodation when we arrived in the city and all we have got a very good accommodation. All in all, we have a very nice, clean and neat accommodation with lots of passion for detail.

Beautiful and idyllic accommodation

Following the directions on the road is easy to find, it is a convenient support to visit Olympia and its surroundings. Well kept and clean room with bathroom and large terrace, shared kitchen in which you can smoke. We were very good, and the owner's advice for meals was very valuable.

Kindness and Colour

The bathrooms are common, one for boys and one for girls; the men's room didn't have the toilet seat - maybe, I think, only momentarily - and the girls' room has a small bathroom, but these things don't make me feel like I've had problems or not been well, because if I have to be there I really feel like I'm staying at home. The kitchen is well-equipped (I have intolerance issues, so I needed to eat). The apartment is a little out of the center of Olimpo (it's still 4 minutes walk away!), and I think we've got quite a lot of room in the park, and I've got a lot to do with it.

I've been good at it!

Checking in was challenging, as we had to wait the in the town center for the receptionist to take us to the accommodation and then use our phone as she had no credit to call the maid since the main door was closed and she had no keys. Also the shared bathroom situation was not particularly clear, HOWEVER, the staff is extra polite, the rooms are brand new, spacey and extremely clean with good matresses and the shared kitchen is fully equipped and there's free wifi too. Its ideal for a stopover and the price is unbeatable. The nearby rooster adds to the bucolic experience. A very pleasant surprise indeed after all.
