It's the second time I've stayed at this hotel but I think it'll also be the last. The only positive note is the price and its location, but everything else is really scarce.

Visit to Piraeus

We were given the wrong rooms contrary to our reservation. It was late at night when we checked in, exhausted after disembarking our ferry, and the receptionist was an old half blind man and we didn’t want to throw a fuss so we just accepted what we were given. The rooms were not that clean and the beds were uncomfortable, the mattress sinks when you lie down. It’s surrounded by nightclubs so you can’t sleep because of the loud music blaring until 5-6am.

Stay away

It gets one star for being in a convenient location if you want to get a ferry the next morning but you definitely don't want to stay more than one night. The room is like a little cell with a sink but no bathroom or toilet. Everything looks old and decrepit, and probably hasn't been updated since the 1950s. If you want hot water you have to tell the reception in advance to switch on thr boiler then wait 20mins to warm up. The door was a window so you are disturbed by the bright light of thr corridor when you are trying to sleep. No aircon, just a fan. And on top of this the hotel is situated nexy door to several nightclubs that play loud music till 4am! Do yourself a favour, spend some more euros and stay somewhere decent.

More like a doss house

We booked this hotel for one night (pass to Athens for correspondence) and luckily! There are prostitutes, and a nightclub just outside the hotel with music in the background until 6am, so it's impossible to rest from our trip! The main light in the hallway is on nonstop so light in the rooms that they are in a sorry state! We were almost afraid of sleeping and catching all kinds of buttons! to avoid!

Absolutely avoid it!

We arrived from Santorini with the night ferry at 12:00 midnight. Pre booked the hotel knowing it arriving late, biggest mistake ever. 

This hotel is located in an area/zone with at least 5 different bars/clubs with super loud music. Imagine us arriving late, after restless sleep on the ferry, just want to get some sleep till the next morning. 

We couldn't do anything about the noise, and decided to party together, which is why I have a rating of 2 stars, instead of 1. 

The hotel didn't bother about changing our room to a double bed, the sink in the room is leaking, shared bathroom and loud noise sum up our experience. 

Try your best to avoid this hotel

First of all...the hotel is located in the party/entertainment district, so we couldn't sleep almost all night because of the very loud music that was playing util 5am..There was no air condition and the room very hot so there was no chance to close the windows to barricade ourselves from that loud music.
Beds were very uncomfortable...mattresses had deep dent in the middle so we were rolling into it.
Washrooms and showers were located on the hallway. Some toilet stalls were so tiny that my 6, 3" husband (he's skinny, but tall) couldn't fit inside. Luckily there were 2 stalls and he could barely fit into the other stall!
And to end this horrible experience...my husband woke up the next morning with the insect bites all over his body! I have no idea what kind of insects attacked him...we couldn't find any...maybe bed bugs? 
Absolutely disgusting place! It truly looked like a rent for an hour place!



Worst hotel EVER!

Like many tourists arriving late in the evening from the airport in Athens, we booked a room in Piraeus to pick up our boat early the next day. We didn't expect great luxury given the price. We first stumbled upon an old unfriendly guy, who asked us for cash while the blue card machine was just behind him. He grinned (in Greek, he's not English and ended up trying to make the transaction but pretended it didn't work.) Then he was forced to go out to get cash. It was two o'clock in the morning. My 7-year-old son was digging and sleeping on the entrance gate. Ah: a little detail and no less: there is nothing worse in this hotel, there is no worse, there was no more water to the hotel, but he pretended it didn't work. Then he had to go out to get cash. It was two o'clock in the morning.

Never again!

We had chosen Adonis for its price - it was only a matter of sleeping a few hours between a late ferry and a morning plane, so it's hardly a matter of being neither difficult nor looking! Yet what a disappointment! Already, the hotel is above several very noisy and uncommon bars and nightclubs (responding to the names of Lola, Madama etc., with poorly dressed girls alone... you see the genre!) I wouldn't be surprised if the hotel rented its rooms at the hotel. Then, the manager we met was a high-level impolite. He nodded at us, refused our card when we didn't specify the rest of the regulations, but we took the rest of the regulations, and we went to the hotel, but we did not get the rest of the regulations, and we went to the hotel.

Get out of here!

We were a bit like the other passengers who left a comment... at the exit of the ferry, looking for a hotel, all booked... We landed at the Adonis Hotel... The hotel is clean, the room as well as the shower and the toilet on the floor. I dare to assume that the nightclub just next door came after the hotel unfortunately for them but it creates an unnamed noise (especially on a Saturday night) knowing that the room box itself is open facade on the street... The bedside of the hotel was abominable and a smell of cold tobacco: very very present....

I'm in the middle of something.

The staff is very friendly but the problem is that a high club has settled next door if you want to sleep go your way.
